Yeah unfortunately the vocals kinda sucked in the end so instead of letting the track go to waste I released the instrumental. Was certainly fun recording those though #NeckinTheBag
@@arthur3260 reason it was called detour, was during a yt livestream a couple years back he had an instrumental with vocals he had commissioned (I don't remember by who), but while he killed it, it didn't fit the vibe (instrumental was way too spankin' for a love song). Boom Kitty wrote new lyrics, about a mafia boss/criminal after a heist who was making his grand escape, and needed to take a detour. He was going to sing them himself, in the same kinda vain of PP song, and IMO it worked really well. Definitely not perfect but had potential, and its a shame it wasn't there in the finished product after all the work the stream and Boom Kitty put into writing them
Remember. Whenever Boom Kitty makes music it's an Ancient Electronic Music theme he makes. Whenever you hear it, it is a song made of Gods And Cultures! Boom Kitty is the creator of ancient music with a cultured theme song! (Also with his music he could've made a game but for now it will only be a theme song for Geometry Dash layouts.)

Badlands is based on post-apocalypse themes.)
