I have a question, I cant move the sliders for a new function without moving all the other parts of my graphs, its annoying how do i add sliders that move one graph and not the others despite the common values between them
@@liuveily3121 Yes i found out, So you don’t really need the sliders at all! in the functions you use, You have a b value, and an h value, and in these values you can put numbers, for example if u want to move the graph vertically (upwards/downwards) you change the h value number and it will move up to the number u want on the y axis, if u want it to move below zero on the y axis u simply put a minus sign infront of the number u want. Same goes for the b value which will horizontally move the graph. If u have more questions feel free to ask i have worked on this for a while for a maths assignment 😭
manually type in the variables if you wont be changing them. put the actual number values in, or if you may need to change them its possible to use other letter variables on the keyboard.
I put the formula y=ax^2+bx+c and I got one slider for c which is a straight line. Not super helpful. Is there a setting I am missing for multiple sliders to show?
I cannot figure out how to get all four sliders at once. I typed in the right equations but not all the sliders show up for all the variables. Can someone please explain to me how to fix this problem?
when you finish an equation, remove the sliders too the sliders for a,b,r, etc are global, so they apply for all equations with those variables, so remove them first
hi Farah, you can do that with multiple restrictions. For example, please check the graph I shared below. I used y=2x, if there are multiple restrictions effecting one function, you need to write restrictions just like that: www.desmos.com/calculator/mogkikgb4m
Hi, I love your videos but still didn't understand one thing. How can you color a part of a drawing comprehending 3 or more curves. For example coloring the ears of pikachu could help me a lot Thanks!
For coloring basic things not this Pikachu you can use inequalities technique. here I explained in this video: ruclips.net/video/fxNu-rCc0Ns/видео.html However, if you have something like this pikachu and color areas between multiple curves you need to use max and min. I will record a video about that very soon. You can still use the inequalities technique but if you do that it doesnt look really appealing. you can check this link: www.desmos.com/calculator/9tcvf2exz6
@@MathMathX Normally it takes a week or so, to recover like 95%, which even I have achieved but for a complete recovery it takes nearly 3 months, depending upon your metabolism.

Hi sir, where can I show u my desmos art???
Just add the link here, I can check.
@@MathMathX okay sure ..
How to duplicate function
So the Vertex form is: y=a(x-h)²+k is it that one?
Needed this for a math project. Thank you!
Fr 😭
Woaaa... If only i was good on maths. Amazing job!
Thanks 💙
Love this series! I think someone mentioned it below but would love a tutorial on shading in desmos!
There are different ways to color. I will talk about that in the next video. I may need to record two videos for that.
Btw I subscribed to your channel, liked your videos. Your channel looks amazing, super professional.
@@MathMathX ah thanks! Your channel has been really useful for me in terms of finding the right ways and tech to make them
@@yourmathtutorvids i am glad you find the vids useful. Keep up the good work, and hopefully people will discover your channel soon.
U can also use absolute value to easily reflect a curve (or straight line) on the y axis.....
Yes, exactly. I will talk about absolute value, max and min when I color pikachu. It will probably be in video 5.
Life saving video, needed this for my math project, thanks so much
Who would wanna dislike this?
Golden bro im literally doing this concept for a PSMT at the moment thank you brother
If you have two symetrical lines or shapes, then you can use absolute value to graph both with one equation.
Exactly 👍👍👍, I will talk about absolute value in video 5 with some advanced coloring techniques.
THIS IS GREAT!!! Thanks Mehmet!

Will be using this for my Project!!! Thank you!
It looks like I knew most of the things in this video too. The root formula for curves is super useful though!
Why is it when I put the domain and for the equation x square root b+(y-h)^2 -k it does not show
thank you :D this helped a lot!
Nice explanation video.
Pikachu was very famous when I was child :)
Same, we were dying for pokemon tasos. I think it is still somehow famous :)
how does the line passed the 0, mine breaks apart
Is there an equation I can use to like make my ellipse rotate at a certain angle??
Yeah I was wondering that too
what if i have a curve that is angled like 45 degrees
How do you get the sliders to show
This is some very good stuff 🧐
Thanks!
The white area in the eye is not his pupil. That's the reflection
Yep, you are right. My bad.
Someone helps me. I want to know the name of form of that eqn that has square root, the third eqn of the parabola u mentioned
hii! what is this function called?
how did you make that 8:17?
He just removed the domains from all of the equations
I was wondering, is it possible to represent all the functions into one giant equation?
hello I got really confused in the curves because it didnt change at all its always in maximum not in minimum
How do you copy paste equations
To make it easier to art for me personally, i made my drawing at the y 25 and x 5 area... how do i make a curve over there?
Very helpful, but so hard to do
what about the 3d form
I am planning to talk about that in another desmos art tutorial but you can check these vids: ruclips.net/p/PLV6gKJDwzw8BLqJr2KW-SciFjEM_LXX0E
How do you make a pointy hyperbola?
Hello again 😊 If we want to colour the area, should we use inequalities?
There are some ways to color and one of them is using inequalities. I will try to cover coloring and shading in the next one or two tutorials.
Thank you sir . Your explanation is very helpful

I cant move the curve line down, the more I move it down, the wider the the curve get.
Hello, can you make one for me need it badly, i can pa you sir if you want
I need a video that shows me how to get that curved ear
3:37
7:17
6:30
Now better find the tangent to each curve and while doing that you can calculate the area within the curve from negative whatever to positive whatever
