Nice summary. I'm a new SN user, but the piece I find missing is wanting to see notes based on their creation date. I'm surprised they don't have a view for this. In my workflow I refer back to working sessions with others on a given day. For now, I have a convention of writing the date in the upper right corner but in my heart I know the metadata is there -- it just isn't surfaced in the user interface. A brilliant option in my mind would be to use the calendar view, click on a given day and see the notes made that day. Another nice touch would be for the heading view to include the creation date as an option.

Thank you for your note. Actually, the calendar does work like this. I was hoping they would go with creation and last opened date but if you click on the date, you will currently see all notes on that day. I have some calendar videos if you are interested.

I find giving my headers a visible structure by adding dots is helpful, so that when I hit the header dropdown I get a list that looks something like this...
    Header 1
    • sub-header 1
    • sub-header 2
    • • sub-sub-header 1
    • sub-header 3
    • sub-header 4
    • • sub-sub-header 1
    • • sub-sub-header 2
    Header 2
    • sub-header 1
    • • sub-sub-header 1
    • sub-header 1
    • sub-header 2
Additionally, I sent some feedback to Ratta on the bases, that as I'm forced to add hand written from say verses in scripture or commentaries... if it might be possibly to convert them to handwriting so I can copy and paste them into my notes. You see, I'm guessing that as we handwrite notes the Supernote somehow traces those pen strokes, so if they can trance our pen-strokes, why not printed text from an image or pdf and convert it to handwritten text. Granted, it might look a bit odd to paste what looks like typed text into your notes but boy, it would save some time. Boox gets around this by adding text boxes, but I don't like them, as when you select one it skips to another mode.
    Anyway, interesting video, thought provoking.

Another great video! You continually get the most out of the SN platform, and explain it in a way that makes it click. That global search is awesome, I had no idea it had so much functionality.
How do you feel about the term Indexing, in reference to what the SN does with Headers, KeyWords, and Stars? Something that I've been thinking about and remembered after seeing your vid?
Oh, and there is a global search in notes on the Boox platform but it's not as fully featured as the Supernote platform. You get Titles (Thumbnails, sort of like the Headers), Handwriting, Text, Tags, and All Folders. No formatting, or filtering options, though.

Thanks for the support and question. I think an indexed search would be awesome and searchable headings would be a game changer. They are already converting them to text through handwriting recognition, but it would be more like the keyword format in the background. Overall, I think they have work to do but have the best current global search around.

Could you try to work in a video for people who have the both sizes of the Supernote and share the same files? Basically, what I'm having issues with is when I update a file in my Nomad, it automatically updates that file on my A5X... but by adding a document. So now I have two "same" documents, one with the original name and one with original name and a series of numbers in the title but with less number of total pages. Have you experienced that? I want the same files on both devices and it's working to an extent, except that problem.

Thank you for your comment and suggestion. I will see what I can do. One thing to think about in my case is that I may re visit notes created on one device on the other, but rarely switch off on any kind of real-time. Since I use short notebooks (to be combined later) it may not mirror your experience. Thanks again for the comment.

I'm thinking about buying the A6x2 for project meeting note taking. I usually manage about 3 projects at the same time so its useful to search for a note based on 2 or more keywords (e.g. Department and Project Name) and also a date range. Is this type of boolean search supported or at least are searches based on search results supported?

Thanks for the comment and questions. As far as I k ow, neither of these options are available. You could use a common keyword set and have it search for that string, but date dependent searches and advanced filtering isn't an option I have seen. I would suggest reaching out to Supernote through feedback and posting to Reddit. Thanks again for engaging.
