      Yes, there's quite a bit more than when we went last. The new 1950's section is progressing too....lovely to see. Thank you Diane. ☺

      Hi Richard. Thank you. We were up there (300 miles app) last week with a few friends who'd never been....they loved it. I grew up in Newcastle so sort of going home for me. ☺

    What I don't like about Beamish is that I'm pretty sure the buses are replicas most of them

      Yes, I think they're a bit of a mix. They now have two new motor buses which I believe will be used on a circular route through the new 1950's area, and also the ex Newcastle City Transport trolleybus (which my Uncle used to drive sometimes) is also to be run when overhead wiring has been extended.
