In hsr we get 10 free pulls every update while in genshin we get them only for anniversary. We will get Xingqiu's skin for free during lantern rite, and only if we complete it. While in HSR we are getting a free limited 5* which is pretty good, and in genshin we got a 5* which is the worst character in game, i am really disappointed with Hoyo :(

Genshin will not be affected. Many have tried and failed. Wuthering waves will fail like many before it. Kuro has failed with punishing gray raven before. What made Genshin is the fans. Without the support of fans not just from the game itself but the ecosystem around it no game has a change to dethrone Genshin. HSR is the very proof of that
