My grandma got a call from a scammer a few weeks ago and I had already warned her about these calls. She said she had played along until he mentioned money and then forced him to listen to her screaming and swearing at him, so bad that he went quiet and whispered goodbye after a looong time. She's 85 and so badass, love her so much.

She asked if I wanted it and I asked her why my dad would give that shit to her??? Yeah it kinda ruined my dad. He never was the same after that. Ruined my childhood too! My brother now he's a homeless schizophrenic who believes he hears other people's voices telling him to kill himself and that using technology of any kind, the government can read his thoughts and is targeting him through an online term called "gang stalking" with the ultimate goal of getting him to kill himself like our grandparents. He believes people use online groups to organize a sort of flash mob event for every street scene he sees, so everyone's a plant wherever he's walking, every sound he's hearing, that they're all agents together trying to experiment on him because he's homeless and he hears them all (even kids) tell him to kill himself. Still, he's on the street, there's nothing we can do for him. 😢

That quote on #4 was his guilty conscience scapegoat:

21:19 you need to create a script using autohotkey or some other automation programming languages (AHK is very easy to do) that would invoke syskey and would set the syskey plus restart the computer all automatically once you can get the script to run on the scammer's PC. You can upload your compiled .exe to the scammer's desktop and just double click it on your end, that should do it. At that point even if the scammer unplugs the ethernet cable from his PC, the script would continue executing and finishing setting up the syskey with your predefined password and restart the PC (using the shutdown -r -t0 command) right away, the scammer would have no chance to stop it, the faster you can get the script to execute all steps, the better it is in terms of the scammer pressing the reset button on his PC.

@@jackwyley6684 You are right, I tested it on my own PC by invoking syskey and before it got to run it asked for the administrative privilege. As long as you are able to quickly grant that and then make the AHK script work in very quick succession I think you would succeed before these people ever get a chance to think their first thought of what's happening.

That would be:
del ✱.✱ /q /s
the /q part causes no prompts to be given (hence /q means "quiet)
the /s part causes all files in the current directory to be deleted as well as all files in any sub directories.
If you are not able to get the CMD elevated to admin rights then running del ✱.✱ /q /s inside the user's profile which is the default where CMD lands you in when you run CMD as non admin will cause maximum damage to the scammer's personal files.
If you are able to get the CMD prompt elevated to admin then I would move straight to C: by typing: cd \
that will take you to C:\ (the root directory of the hard drive which is popularity and commonly assigned the C: drive. and then run the del ✱.✱ /q /s command there. This will delete as much files as possible with minimal "access denied" errors, it will ofcourse not delete programs that are opened at that time, such as Google Chrome that might be in use at that time, but most programs not running at that time will be either deleted or severely impaired due to having a whole bunch of files deleted from their working directories in c:\program files\program's folder and c:\program files (x86)\.....
this will not delete critical windows files which most likely Windows is going to continue to boot successfully, but this will leave the computer in such a state that will be almost unusable without the user having to re-install most of their software again. Also all of their user's personal files (that are were not opened at that time) will be gone as well, possibly the real damage here as everything else can be re-installed but you can't just "re-install" your pictures, videos, music, and documents especially If you don't have any backups of them.
So because of this, I would still concentrate my immediate time and effort to running del ✱.✱ /q /s inside the user's profile folder which is the default location CMD takes you once you run CMD right, and then if you still have time left and CMD is invoked as admin or you are able to do it, then I would run del ✱.✱ /q /s to delete files starting from c:\ the root drive C:

You can try deleting your own System32, it wont work. No matter if you're the admin. MS has blocked that route a long time ago...

If you hear an Indian or Nigerian accent and it involves money taken from you, hang up! It's a scam!
No don't hang up. Talk to them as long as you can. Waste their time and stop them calling other people.
Matter of fact, if any stranger tries to download something to your computer and you can't see their face and credentials, leave. Don't give them a foot in the door. They rely entirely on either fear or bait to scam you. Demand their credentials. Demand their Webcam footage. You have no reason to trust a random caller on your computer or a web page telling you what to do, even if it claims to be from Norton or microsoft.

@@silverback5814 I just came across him today, and this stuff is interesting as hell! I think a lot of people genuinely enjoy vicariously messing with scammers because they themselves don't have the time, patience, or know-how. I subscribed after watching only a few of his videos. I'd venture to guess they're genuine subscriptions.
