dude your cardio is off the charts! Haaard 3 min round, not a slow pace at all, and after its over youve barely broken a sweat and are breathing quite normally. Im impressed
Really looking forward to see his debut in KC, but I think it will be a close fight. His opponent looked really good so far, and I actually like him too, so I can't really pick a favourite this time
So, this video has confirmed to me what I was suspecting.for a while: I hit pads too fast. If a much smaller fitter faster pro like Gabriel has a reasonably controlled pace for most of his pad work, getting total balance and not rushing, then I'd bet most of us to too fast on the pads.
Key success for a good fighter are a good pad holder who helps the fighter string combinations that the fighter has worked hard for. He is a good pad holder.
Let's go Gabriel. Can't wait to see you challenge these karate practitioners. Rooting for yup to own them. Yr trips and sweeps gonna be a huge asset in the comp rules. Great power Gabriel. Keep it up. Belt is yrs
Hey Gabriel looking sharp! Was wondering if you could do a video (whenever you have time of course!) doing a side by side comparison/pros and cons of those extra big mitts vs traditional Thai pads.
It just depends on personal preference. I prefer Thai pads. Find they more versatile. The smaller pads Def help with accuracy though. Just my thoughts homie
Awesome to watch thank you for sharing this with us. Gabriel I wonder what does your strength and conditioning routine (weights, calisthenics, etc) look like to supplement your fighting ability? How might that change from when your out of camp, beginning your camp, and as you get closer to the fight?
Hey Gabriel, what's your best times for 1 mile, 5k, 10k? Would love to get an idea of what to aim for for myself. Currently working alot on my cardio for muay thai.
Could you do a. Video of your training like running weights and eating what you do each day as example? A day in the life kind of thing and what you eat. Thanks
Nice video and good padsholder :)have you tryed padsholders there smash the pads into you hand when you punch ? As if your opponent headbut your hand. That is werry unrealistick and your target will never make that move.......You padsholder her is taking it to the limit and is also doing it a little(no offense).....I have also seen a lot of pro padesholder doing it.IMO you can break you wrist with this hard target mov. What is you oppinion af that.

I was always confused with this question. I see some ppm at the gym just light up the pads but I personally go slow

He’s covered in other videos but he mostly focuses on conditioning. A lot of HIIT, sprints and circuit training.
As crispy as twice fried tempura. Looking lethal coach! Train hard and smart and best of luck!

A good pad holder is hard to find here in USA
Will Wayne be in your corner saturday?

Nice video! Some of the movements remind me slightly of Superbon. (I know you are a kickboxer and not a thai fighter, but some of those moves…)

why shouting like that? breath out, dont tense out. proper body mechanics and.body tensigrity is.enough
Some tennis players do this, some don't. Some martial artists do this, some don't. I'm sure Gabe does it because it suits him.
