    When you upgrade your lights on a old bike you have to change out any relays and switches designed for the old lights. Just make a new wiring harness that can handle the reduced load of the upgrades, plus it gives you a chance to simplify it. Don’t forget to cap or plug the hole if your deleting the tachometer cable.

      How do you usually cap that hole?

    I bought the exact speedo. At 1st made a same bracket like yours but the tread under the speedo was too long so I have to move the headlight down and leaving a big gab which doesn't look nice so I redo the bracket.

    Hey man! I'm trying to do something similar, and retrofit a dual bulb tail light onto my bike that originally only used 1 bulb. What Do you suggest I need to do for wiring on this?

    I agree with you, that seat is all out of proportion to the bike. It looks out of place.

    Not a fan of the new speedo, headlight & back light, they look a bit agricultural like they came off a tractor. Why not clean up and use the original classical units which look a lot better.

    The speedo you got for the mechanical cable on the back is it the speed sensor or the tachometer?

    • @shawncolon4506
      @shawncolon4506 Год назад +1

      It’s for speed, you get the tach readings from the ignition system. Look at delete plugs for the tach since the cable isn’t needed.

    Please don’t use gloves while handling the angler grinder. Only bad can come out of it if it snags. Love the bike build getting some inspiration for mine from you. Again though please no longer use gloves and live a long life!
