Don't worry about not knowing how to bubbly wrap something. I have moved a lot and never bubble-wrapped anything in my life. I usually just put my towels, bedsheets and softer clothes around my most breakable stuff and use newspaper or the packing paper you get when you order stuff online for the not quite so breakable rest. Makes it a bit more annoying to unpack stuff because your stuff is mixed but saves money on the bubble-wrap. So I never knew there was a right or wrong way to use bubble-warp

This is what my mum taught me when I first moved home and I've been doing it ever since. So much better than ending up with a lot of bubble wrap you're not going to use again.

Newly diagnosed with Adhd I can now understand why I've always related to Taz so much😂 (can't sleep, can't be bothered to eat a proper meal sometimes, hate long nails.. these are so random, but apparently, an Adhd thing)

the binbag goes over via the hanger. make a tiny tear and pull the twisty part of the hanger tru it. work with the clothes, not against it. not to mention, this way you don't need the box.

I've been watching a few declutter videos recently and seems like were all in the same boat, not wanting to be minimalists but just having too many things and needing to have less things so things can be easier to keep on top of and tidy. Great video, hope the move goes well! x

I'm in the process of moving too and have been packing for the past 2 weeks (I have 3 children so a lot to pack) and so far we have donated 5 big bags of their clothing to a children's charity, toys to the children's hospital and I've packed off some boxes to local charity shops. I was amazed at how many things we still had that no longer fit, was being worn or used.
If you haven't finished this yet, I would love to follow you through the decluttering process. I find it very inspiring to see people do declutters and I absolutely enjoyed your Marie Kondo Video. Greetings from Germany❤️

Hi Taz! Hope you`re well! You wanted us to recommend you some shows so I'm going to recommend you watching Gilmore Girls! Its one of my all time favourite shows and I've rewatched it about ten times because its so entertaining and has almost a cozy feel to it. Like you could just sit in a blanket with either tea or hot chocolate! Its amazing!

You can just make a hole at the bottom of the binbag and then put the Hangers with clothes hung on through the hole, clothes are covered and you can take the clothes by easily holding the multiple Hangers! Tada
im moving out of my student accom to a real place in september this really helped make the process seem alot more calming:)

I don't like the maintenance of died hair either but love dying my hair, i would suggest dying everything but your roots, so then you can just let it grow out naturally and don't have to keep up with it and it still looks great :))

Those are my favourite size and shape mug too. You can get from tesco for around £2.50 or from cath kidstone, on sale for around £5 😉

It's easier if you make a hole in the top for the hanger handles
Next time pull the bag over the top of the hangers and clothing and just poke the hangers through. It's so much easier 😊 that's what we did when we moved.

You should absolutely watch Schitt’s Creek or Ginny & Georgia, both of these are amazing, and truly the only tv shows I can consistently watch as I get bored most of the time. Congrats on the move and hope you are well

I love decluttering😊 I imagine I’m about to live in a van, and if I wouldn’t take it with me on vanlife, I get rid of the item
You don’t even need to bubble wrap your breakables 1 by 1.
When I moved a few months back I wove the bubble wrap in and out of the mugs in a box then wove another on top and so on. But always put 1to2 layers of bubble wrap at the top and bottom and shove some down the edges at the end 📦📦

Those Tweezerman brand clippers are phenomenal tho. I'll never buy another kind after getting theirs. Really, I'm not sure if I'll ever even need a new pair. Been using the same ones for years.

Taz .... it will rock your salmon bowl ... get some edamame (they even sell them frozen, you just defrost and pop them out of the pod) and stir it into your salmon bowl. Nice crunch, delicious ...

Ok, I'm not even 2 minutes into the video, but here goes. For my flavor of adhd, it's not the quantity of items (esp clothing), it's the number of choices I have to make when using the items. I don't consider myself a minimalist but I like having a "low/no choices" closet where I can pick almost anything and mix it with almost anything. When I run out of underwear, it's time to do laundry. I have at least 2 weeks of clothes bc I can't be bothered to do the washing more frequently than that. Now when I shop for clothes I find pieces that mix with what I already have.
But I'm also decluttering because I ignore other stuff. Thanks, adhd 🤣

I have the opposite thing where I have very long nails all the time and when one breaks it feels so weird. Like if my thumb nail breaks it throws off my whole equilibrium and I start missing letters on my phone keyboard 😭
I don't like long nails either. I do however like having acrylics for about a week, then I hate them and want them off.
oh my god taz i'm literally the same as you with the long nails and dying hair hahaha. the long nails annoy me and the hair is too much faff even tho i kinda want to try it💀
I loved long nails until i was a teen, but after i started living on my own and started doing chores i hated long nails and keep it at a reasonable length.

The Last of Us is a really good show even if you never watched/played the videogame (it has "zombies" but it's not a horror series)...yeah mostly this one, the last series I watched are two italian ones, Wednesday and Chucky (horror/slasher so I don't reccomend it for you...even because it's a sequel to the whole movie saga)
