Can you share how you misused Tretinoin? I am so sorry you dealt with that. But thank you so much for sharing the images. I was prescribed tret but have been too scared to use it. Also I purchased that sunscreen balm from your what's in my bag video and I absolutely LOVE it. Thank you!!!!

Don't feel bad about the Trent injury. It happens to a lot of people. We have this thing in our heads that more is better, and if it's tingling or stinging, then it must be working. Then because so many people talk about "the purge", we don't listen to our skin when it's telling us it's in trouble!
One quick note though from a skincare junkie, put your sunscreen on before you do your concealer, so that you're not worried about disrupting your concealer. You will thank yourself so much down the line, because that skin is so sensitive and needs protection.
Great video, and you have a new subscriber!

This is absolutely beautiful! Please do more looks like this, I'm obsessed! Maybe incorporate more drugstore options as well, if possible. Congrats on the new job! Your skin is radiant! I use that balm brand, but in a tube, not balm. I'm curious to try that now! 😘🥰🤗

The tube is great for on the go. I like the feeling it gives when you apply in the summer. And yes, I'll definitely incorporate more drug store items in the future... Thank you 🩷

The stick SPF is Round Lab stick SPF;) I use retinal the Medick8 retinal level 1 and I use it 1 time a week because I can't handle Trent or retinols very well but the Medick8 is amazing and gentle and I have seen good results with 1 time a week at the lowest dose. I feel so bad for what u went through I had a similar experience with Trent but not as bad because I didn't use more is more and multiple days a week. Some people just can't handle that ingredient especially more then 1 time a week.

Yeah, it was honestly my fault. I applied WAY MORE than the recommended amount. But I learned the hard way that more does not always mean better results lol.

People don't share this enough about what happens if you missus tretinoin. It can completely alter your skin and what your skin can handle going forward. My face looked exactly like your images. Because I would slather it all over my face like if it was moisturizer. I'm still dealing with it.😢

Congrats on getting your new job, I was wondering and hoping you were bc that all sounded very stressful. Im glad you’re good :)
Does the gel for the brows help for the makeup to not move? I’ve been struggling with my brows lately

Thank you. I was extremely nervous, not knowing if I was going to find a job.... Yes if you have thick browns, gelling them will help you tame them and keep them in place. Anastasia Beverly Hills has the best one hands down.

I injured my skin with "beauty" product 30 years ago. Big pores, breakouts constantly. I used the product just a few times & my face was bright red & peeling. concealer was the only thing that covered it up.. was that way for a month. Now I only use basic moisturizer. I do not use any specialty products. recently I noticed my skin looks better. 30 years in the making. Ladies you are beautiful with the skin you have. love your earrings. good luck with new job!

Yes, I wish I would have not fell into the "this is what everyone is doing" mindset because my skin was perfectly fine. I'm glad you were able to fix the issue... Social media influence is hard to not fall into.

My doctor made me feel like misusing Tretinoin was unheard of!
I got alot of hyperpigmentation from misuse of Tretinoin.
Its been almost a year with not much improvement. Please share how you tackled that. Tx

So using foundation makes you “dirty”? FCOL stop this “clean” BS already. 🙄

    • @BlancaBota

I think you are interpreting the term " Clean Makeup " as it's a term to differentiate a certain look. Not it actually being clean. Also, I use foundation.
