Great demonstration video which sold me as I now have one myself. It's not my first Artist guitar as a few years back I brought the Artist Cherry 58 semi-hollow electric guitar which sounds good. I don't play professionally but just around home.
Wow..This sounds better than my Hummingbird or J45...Brett, You make the best demos of anyone on youtube ..I bought the CLA guitars plugin because of you..Hope you get a chance to demo the Boss IR2..Really looking forward to hearing you demo that..Thanks Dave
Not a fan of that high gloss finish or the mahogany top tbh, they did have a spruce top version but no longer listed.. Sounds pretty good though. Wonder why a reverb circuit can't be built into an electric?
Brett, I ordered one immediately after your review. Seeing I plug in to a Fender Acoustasonic from my Prado, it's a go anywhere and sound good guitar. They tell me it will arrive after March 1. Was yours specially setup prior to demo??
@@colhad9505 The Piezo will be fine for nylon, but the bridge won't be ideal (pins) and I wouldn't be too sure about the nut and/or machine heads either.
@@BrettKingman Just wondering, some time ago you did a review on another Artist acoustic. It looked like a "concert body?" With pickups etc. It was like over $1000 if memory serves. It sounded awesome as well. If you remember, how would you rate this to that? I just searched. I think it was the.. Artist OMC500SN

That's a really good sounding guitar and I imagine it would be a fun one to play with all the extra features.
Awesome demo

awesome like always. this will work with nylon strings ?
Thanks again. No, this one's not built for nylon strings. They may do another model for nylon, but I'm not sure.
@@BrettKingman thx . but there is a piezo, how this is not good for nylon??

@@BrettKingman i understand. thx for ur help.
did you try and connect to the software for deeper editing at all?
i bought one and it tells me it can't connect to the device
I like it but I cannot find info on their website if they can ship it to the USA
Don't Artist have an office in the USA? Maybe they can chip in here if so.
Yes Artist has an office in Usa
Thank you!, I will try to find
How was the action/playability? Did it need any tweaking?
"Every junkie's like a setting suuuuuuuuuun."
Nope. I usually have to give the neck a tweak or something, but no need for anything with this one.
@@BrettKingman Thanks for the reply. Nice one!

@@tisnotmy-name1180 Honestly, if I had to choose, I'd probably go for this one - something about the big sound and extra feature set.
@@BrettKingman Cheers mate.
