Tough test against a decent side. What did you all think of the game? I know pre-season has been long! There’s been somethings out of our hands that’s stopped us announcing our plans sooner but we are VERY close now! Worth the wait!
The more i see from Phil Martin, the more i am sure he would be one of, if not the best player on Hashtag, if he was just a little more fit. He has SUCH GOOD FEET and ball control.
Spencer is actually turning into a good manager. At first when he did the team talk you could tell he didn’t have a clue but He actually seems good and able to give team talks.
Look at everyone blaming the ref😂 when debatable calls go in favour of Hashtag no one says anything but when it's the other way round everyone's quick to comment
Anyone else realise how in Hashtag’s favour these clips are edited? The inclusion of Sam Adams’ attempted cross in the 5th minute of the match to highlight the standard of the pitch before not showing a slowed down version of the penalty decision which Spencer was so confident was no handball? Strange.
How can a “football team” not be used to playing on a proper pitch. Unbelievable. We play on mental pitches with bogs bigger than Windermere, yet we don’t complain, we f****ing love it
My mate plays for a sport college and versed Northampton and said Scotty Pollock wasn’t even good. I enjoy the lads and the content but it isn’t a great level it’s portrayed to be. However, I still really enjoy the videos and hope you do well. Don’t forget to hashtag it!
Gonna offer my opinions on controversial calls: 19th minute handball: no call... not possible for Rich to react in time, hand/arm isn't in an unnatural position. 23rd minute yellow card: from the angle, tough to tell... looks like a clean win with both players having a high foot but not that bad. Possible whistle for high kick, no yellow card for me. 25th minute yellow card: impossible to tell without knowing what was said, or if Theo had been warned. Does look like a tough offside call prior though since black player looks to be last man. 30th minute yellow card: looks like correct call, late and from the side through the man. If first offense, then probably just a foul... but ref looks to be yellow card happy at this point. Even after the 2nd angle for the goal line stop from Jacko... it does look like an incredible save.
Greetings from Greece guys. Great job over there. Try taking on some other national teams such as Isle of Wight, Orkney, Shetland Islands, Alderney e.t.c
Although it wasn't a win I loved the video. I'm sure u n the boys will have better results in future games. Only thing I didn't like about it was the ref. Dire is an understatement. I look forward to seeing what's next. Heads up lad u have nothing to fret about. Don't forget to hashtag it
As a fully qualified referee I can say that he was not just 'card happy' as some are saying! He clearly didn't know what he was doing - weak arm signals and a huge amount of completely wrong decisions. Man that was difficult to watch :) it took away from the match which is the opposite of a ref's role.
The ref wasn't bad at this game, these players are just a bunch of spoiled men. Penalty- Clearly blocks the shot (That was going to the net) with his arm. Correct penalty 1st Yellow- High Foot. Foul. Yellow is exagerated 2nd Yellow. Insults to ref. No discussion. Yellow well shown 3rd Yellow. Foul by negligency. Yellow is acceptable (personally i wouldn´t shown it but it's acceptable). Goal line- The images that were shown were biased and i can´t tell if it was over the line or not. So concluding, he is right on saying that his team didn´t focused on the game and was more interested in arguing with ref (but so was him... hypocrisie) but it was never 11x12 like he said.
The speech was great, but I feel like you could’ve left off the “I’ve got a job to do. You should do yours” or something like that that you said to the referee. The ref was pretty bad (and I’m a ref myself haha!), but still, to say what you said to the ref on the vlog, then to tell the players that they’d have a black mark on their name if they treated the ref wrong is kinda inconsistent. Still, a good talk and a good game and I understand you were frustrated! We all get frustrated, but it’s good when we can keep our heads level and not say anything as opposed to saying something unprofessional.
That pitch was terrible it bobbled like crazy its worst than some on the Sunday league episodes. Like if you agree. Oh ye Spece get a proper ref next game
defence were leaving their men too easy... attack didn't even get a shot on target to challenge the keeper the ref and the pitch got in your heads today
i love how nobody cares when hashtag get calls but now they make a big deal over a couple maybe bad calls at some point spencer has to realized that hashtag just arent that good i mean theyre barely above sunday league level
I've watched every Hashtag game since they began playing their "Seasons". Unfortunately, this is the last. The adverts are just way too much now. 5 ads in 1 video? No thanks...
Tough test against a decent side. What did you all think of the game? I know pre-season has been long! There’s been somethings out of our hands that’s stopped us announcing our plans sooner but we are VERY close now! Worth the wait!
I cant wait for you to announce playing in a proper league. Love ya and dont forget to hashtag itttt
Going semi pro ?
I’ve played on that exact pitch for my Saturday team
Spencer FC can you try and play Southampton University?
Sign manny
That was the most professional team talk I’ve seen Spencer, 100% correct.
Brayden Jackson he probably does them a lot when the camera is off on other games.
Brayden Jackson I
This is literally the longest Pre-Season ever
Swainy's69 Think it'll last all summer honestly I think they're registering with the FA
Do you think it's a bit too long of a pre season?
Swainy's69 Yeah but the English football season starts in August
The more i see from Phil Martin, the more i am sure he would be one of, if not the best player on Hashtag, if he was just a little more fit. He has SUCH GOOD FEET and ball control.
I agree👍
Lovely to watch. That drop of the shoulder and turn past the two defenders was smooth.
Thanks lads 👍🏻👍🏻
Márcio Silva right?? if he was fitter, which he might be able to do. He'll be so good
I am pretty sure he will! Hope he uses this comment section as fuel! We wanna see you smash it Phil ;)
Stevie CB casually in the background 2:45
theo's a wasteman why did he take that freekick from Guru
Spencer is actually turning into a good manager. At first when he did the team talk you could tell he didn’t have a clue but He actually seems good and able to give team talks.
Only Watched 30 Minutes into the game right now,
That ref has been payed by them.
Bazza i think you always need to pay the ref
Bazza the ref wasnt even that bad wth, they were all back tackles. Some refs are leninet and others are card happy. Nothing wrong with that
Stephen and Barry
Look at everyone blaming the ref😂 when debatable calls go in favour of Hashtag no one says anything but when it's the other way round everyone's quick to comment
Cuz Spencer talks about decisions against them for the whole game
And that ball was definitely over the line so should’ve been 3-0
thank you
Kick off 07:24
Thanks
Thanks
My g
IFarris Siregar has
cheers jeff
Where's Messi?
great team talk tbf
I literally wait for these uploads. They make my day!!
Spencer what a leader
I think the ref was just mad cos he had to wear a bib. 😂😂
QuantanInfinity 😂😂😂😂
Lol
Hashtag with Spencer: Consecutive Wins
Hashtag without Spencer: Consecutive Losses
Rated the half time team talk tbf
Haven't been this excited for a hashtag game in a long time
Anyone else realise how in Hashtag’s favour these clips are edited? This game would’ve been interesting with a ref cam/go pro to hear his perspective
Hashtag are in the Spartan South Midlands League next year allocated in Step 5/6 in English Non-League for 2019/2020 season
I respect that half time talk spencer almost reminded me of Neil Warnock but you were right to speak to them like that and give discipline
woah that's mad that Tom guy (number 6) who Spencer interviewed used to go to my secondary school
Classy halftime talk Spenc, well done 👍🏼
17:32 “can dan brown break the deadlock.” At that point it was 1-0 spenny
7:58 "Freekick now, for Reading."
"it's dan brown, can dan brown break the deadlock?!" the deadlock's already been broken mate
JEMEL AKEEM!!!! That slide block was solid maaaaaaaan!!
How can a “football team” not be used to playing on a proper pitch. Unbelievable. We play on mental pitches with bogs bigger than Windermere, yet we don’t complain, we f****ing love it
7:39 - 7:40 who else saw theo do a little wiggle lol
My mate plays for a sport college and versed Northampton and said Scotty Pollock wasn’t even good. I enjoy the lads and the content but it isn’t a great level it’s portrayed to be. However, I still really enjoy the videos and hope you do well. Don’t forget to hashtag it!
You guys really didn’t deserve that lose, you guys were the better side and had the better football
Gonna offer my opinions on controversial calls:

Spencer play against Stockton town F.C. - they’re at Wembley today !!
Personally I think spencer should become the manager of htu as he is really not cutting it as a player but has good footballing insight
Brilliant half time team talk
Good game, tough opponents, a lot to learn from all the team
Anyone else notice Theo’s little dance @ 7:39 haha
2 many new faces, miss the old #utd, keep it up boys!
Love that Zac Clarke 🙌💎❤️
The big man at the back sounds like harry Kane when he talks
Teo what did you say?
My father will hear about this, Potter.
"Well done ref"
I know Theo would never abuse someone
Well done
Rayan Diba you his best friend that u know that lol
Spencer gives such yer da teamtalks
How does Spence come up with these speaches they r amazing.
Well played lads keep it up
Zac clarkes body is charlie Morleys and they just stuck his face on top😂😂
That tom guy from reading in interview looks like ChrisMD 😂😂
Greetings from Greece guys. Great job over there. Try taking on some other national teams such as Isle of Wight, Orkney, Shetland Islands, Alderney e.t.c
The way Spencer started shouting was mad same if them are his age mate and his shouting like there his students
what about a tour in Italy, in Tuscany? I'm a referee in an amateur league...We could organize something to play some matches.
Although it wasn't a win I loved the video. I'm sure u n the boys will have better results in future games. Only thing I didn't like about it was the ref. Dire is an understatement. I look forward to seeing what's next. Heads up lad u have nothing to fret about. Don't forget to hashtag it
Been waiting for this all week!
You should have a rematch on a less bobbly pitch.
Spencer should become the full time manager and get in to a proper semi pro league and work the way up the ranks
As a fully qualified referee I can say that he was not just 'card happy' as some are saying! He clearly didn't know what he was doing - weak arm signals and a huge amount of completely wrong decisions. Man that was difficult to watch :) it took away from the match which is the opposite of a ref's role.
Who's getting a massage of CB in the background of the team talk
Anyone else realise the first 80 mins was basically yesterday’s FA Cup Final?
This ref... Couldn't believe hashtag had to play with him!
Where’s the Newquay game???
Lewis Rogers yeah
Might be on spencers channel
They probably lost so didn’t post it
Lewis Rogers will be up next. We played reading game before the Newquay one. We upload them in order they were played 👍🏻
That was a really good halftime speech
This is a pitch in Woodley haha this is awesome
Come on tour to Australia 🇦🇺
If you can play gwelup Croatia
That half time team talk though
That half time team talk though. Spencer for England?
That ref was defiantly one of the uni players dads
hashtag uniteeeeeeddddd
Deserved pk and first two yellow cards. Third one was harsh. Why didn't you pause the video where it hit his hand? Or at least slow it down.
In half of an hour into the game the ref is surely getting played by the university and wearing a university shirt underneath
I know tekkerz guru is a good player but he isn't getting the job done!!!!!
Abdallah Mujbel TBF, Dan and Ryan didn't do too well, which is why Isa had to keep shooting.
The ref was showing no mercy
Great video hashtag utd don't forget to hashtag it
if that reading team is playing around the exeter uni team level then they are a bloody good team
That ball boy though
Hashtags pre season is longer than most clubs‘s season lol
The ref wasn't bad at this game, these players are just a bunch of spoiled men.
Penalty- Clearly blocks the shot (That was going to the net) with his arm. Correct penalty
1st Yellow- High Foot. Foul. Yellow is exagerated
2nd Yellow. Insults to ref. No discussion. Yellow well shown
3rd Yellow. Foul by negligency. Yellow is acceptable (personally i wouldn´t shown it but it's acceptable).

Keep it up hashtag don’t forget to hashtag it
Phill Martin absolutely underrated ⚽️

Sign up one or 2 of those lads finishing up in the university i reckon!
Guru’s no look corner 8:40
That pitch was terrible it bobbled like crazy its worst than some on the Sunday league episodes. Like if you agree. Oh ye Spece get a proper ref next game
Savage and Jack they need to realise they’re no more than a Sunday league team need to stop blaming refs and pitches
Do a tour in Portugal so i can see you live
The other decisions I do not agree with but Theo saying “well done” sarcastically is a yellow, no doubt about it.
“I’ve already got a job to do, so I expect you to do yours”
-Spencer to the Refs
Anyone else think the guy on the left in the Prematch interview looks just like chrisMD
Haven’t we already seen this
the ref clearly had a favorite team lol gg boys
What’s considered a ‘hot game’ in England? Degree wise
Dan,Ryan and Tekkers great players
defence were leaving their men too easy... attack didn't even get a shot on target to challenge the keeper the ref and the pitch got in your heads today
What a match
1:42 what is theo doing behind Spencer?
No pen rich beck was protecting him self
Play against Motherwell from Scotland in your next game
Why am I finding it difficult to see who’s who
I like spencer but in many games the red has helped them a lot so he shouldn’t blame it all on the ref when it goes against them
Spencer we want to see you play
i love how nobody cares when hashtag get calls but now they make a big deal over a couple maybe bad calls at some point spencer has to realized that hashtag just arent that good i mean theyre barely above sunday league level
I've watched every Hashtag game since they began playing their "Seasons". Unfortunately, this is the last. The adverts are just way too much now. 5 ads in 1 video? No thanks...
Penalty decision was clearly right moved hands towards it
Where was Scott 2nd half?
