- The assembly is carried out according to a classic receiver scheme with reaction (regenerative).
It consists of two floors, one for radio frequency, equipped with T1 and the second for audio frequency, equipped with T2.
The radio frequency floor works as follows:
The signal of the broadcasting station is selected by the circuit formed by L2 - C2 and then it is amplified by the transistor T1. Part of the amplified radio frequency signal is returned to the input circuit, by means of capacitor C3. In this way, a substantial strengthening of the signal from a certain radio station is created.
By means of potentiometer R1, the reaction of the circuit is dosed, up to the threshold of the circuit entering oscillation. When the assembly begins to oscillate, sharp sounds and whistles are heard.
The detection of the useful signal (audio) is also carried out on this floor, equipped with the T1 transistor.
The obtained audio signal is applied to the audio frequency stage equipped with the T2 transistor. Наука

Many years ago I had a 2-transistor arrangement courtesy of a kit, possibly made by Philips and on just a ferrite rod was surprised how well it pulled in the stations. By comparison, the battery tube radios I made in the early 60s needed an outside antenna to do something similar.

From experiments, it works between 500 Khz and 7 Mhz.
I’m curious. Why did you use a potentiometer and not a variable capacitor to control the regeneration setting?

Fiddling with the dials trying to get signals to be understandable is half of the fun when using a Regen.
Not the best radios for casual listening, but lots of fun.

Salut !Fain proiectul!De unde ati achizitionat modulele de amplificare.Cele pe care le-am cumparat au probabil un factor de amplificare de mai putin de 20 de ori cu toate ca ar trebui sa fie 200.
Salut! Este constructie proprie. Am incercat tot felul de variante constructive, pana am ajuns la forma de la minutul 8:59. Am incercat si cu 3 etaje de amplificare, insa montajul devine prea sensibil, probabil trebuie realizat intr-o carcasa metalica.
@@dz-abouttechnique1849Mă refeream la amplificarea audio. La minutul 9:02 se vede ceva care seamănă a modul de amplificare audio lm386 ... Dar oricum e frumos radioul! L-am constituit și pe cel cu "reactie" AM și am reușit să îl fac să meargă. De fapt am făcut vreo 3 . La cat mai multe videouri!

what are the Values for L2-MW and L2-SW ?. The question is based on the very high possibility that my ferrite rod might have different properties than yours and will yield a value that will not get me to the correct bands. Withe value I can build my coils very close to what you have in yours.

@@dz-abouttechnique1849 minute 03 has only the amount of turns and the diameter of the rod, but not the inductance value in Henry's..(thanks for the quick reply, I have already completed most of the work just needed to verify that the inductance of K2 was close enough to response correctly

@@noelrodriguez I don't have an inductance measuring device. I estimate as follows: L2 MW: 550 - 600 uH. L2 SW: 10 - 12 uH.

L3 if done in a small rounded ferrite core or plastic pen refill as inductor their was any problem in reception??
Not. The coil is not important. It also works without a coil. Use a 1 - 100 ohm resistor.
