Been using my skypad 3 with the NP01S and the balance of low friction and speed of the pad with a slightly heavier mouse is a really fun combo. Might swap out the skypad for this

I don't know if you can tell me anything else, I'm between the pulsar superglide and this Akari with a tendency to buy this Akari. The superglide I have tried (from a friend) and I liked it better than the skypad-gen3 for its smoothness/'speed' = that kind of grainy texture that seems to give very little control according to mice sensation. Or on the other hand go for this new gen one.
It strikes me that in this new gen something you said in one of the past videos is that it gave you that speed with a feeling of better control (something subtle). And in this one what you say at minute 4:45 surprised me in turn, you keep a bit of control with the texture, a similar effect to superglide? lighter/less noticeable than superglide?
*By the way* it's crazy that they improved the sound, and you hear less glide on these new gen ones. Thanks for the video

Is there a very big difference between skypad4 and glsswrks?
The top glass pads have minor differences. For instance if you have a skypad 4.0 I don’t think you should feel compelled to spend money on a side grade unless you really like the design

It’s more balanced than my superglide with dots (obsidians / tiger ice v2)

Might be a dumb question but would it be fine to rest things on the top edges of it? I have a pretty small desk, so right now I have my right speaker, part of my dac, and the right leg thing of my LG monitor stand resting on the top and top left edges of my deskmat. Not sure how fragile these thing are or if it would just be a scratch/scuff risk.
It should be ok. As long as you’re not slamming things onto the edges with force

I swapped to pros on my sp004 from some stock razer skates. Not as buttery, the pros feel harder (because they are). I'm not planning on switching skates from the pros since I like the idea of the durability@@braedoniles2838
