      Hi Sue, we wished we could have met up with you. We enjoyed PV and the Riviera Nayarit area. We try to be positive about everything including the not so positive experiences. If we let the negative effect us that would ruin the over all experience. -Marc

    I went to Sayulita the first time in 1996 and loved it
    Nice, quite and relatively inexpensive
    Now in my opinion, it is a horror show
    I can appreciate that different people are looking for different experiences

      It's interesting to head your perspective from your first time to now. I imagine it's changed quite a bit over those years. I imagine it's way more crowded and more expensive now then it was. Thank you for sharing your perspective. We appreciate it. -Marc

      We just got back from a cruise a couple of days ago. I’ve now decided to redecorate patio with a Mexican theme because we are missing Mexico so much but really enjoying this time with the kids & grand babies! We hope to eventually retire there but it’ll be a few years down the road.

    I spit out my coffee at the "No Money, No Honey, story of my teenage years" comment. Looks like another charming location to add to my list.

      It was fun but crowded. It had it's charms for sure. The whole Riviera Nayarit was fun. We look forward to meeting up with you two when you come back to Mexico. -Marc

    The food looks yummy! Sayulita is cute and colorful. The beach is way too crowded during high season for my taste. The water at sunset is gorgeous!

      The fgood there was very good. Yes the beach was more rowded then Bucerias for sure. It was fun just to sit back and watch families having a good time at the beach though. -Marc

    Nice video, I like the overall look of the town with the papel picado and streamers. Not sure I would want to stay more than 3 days but for a weekend getway it looks great.

      A weekend is about the right amount of time to spend in San Pancho but if you spent more time you could go on some hikes and some of the nature reserves.

    Those mishaps are no fun at the time, but often turn into funny stories later! Glad to hear the overall experience in Sayulita was positive. 😊

      @TheTwoTravelersInMexico  9 месяцев назад

      Hi Audrey, the important thing about mishaps is that if your not harmed in anyway is to be able to look back and laugh at it. It was crowded as we expected since it was high season there but we had fun. -Marc

    I visited a couple years ago and i thought it was on the pricey side. We had some yummy good food. Getting to and from airport in PV was expensive..not sure i would visit again

      It's pricey for sure. Rides to the airport are made more difficult because Uber isn't available. -Marc

    Yep, we spent time in Lo de Marcos but skipped everything between there and Punta Perula. Glad we chose to skip Sayulita in there. Sooooo not our vibe. Too spendy, too touristy, too crowded.

    • @TheTwoTravelersInMexico
      @TheTwoTravelersInMexico  9 месяцев назад +1

      There were a lot of people and it was more expensive and touristy but it still had some plusses that we liked. When we go back I should check out Lo de Marcos and Playa de Muertos and do some of the other activities that we didn't do this time. -Marc

    the town is super expensive and smells of weed.only good thing about this town is the chocolate banana.way to many people openly smoking weed.

    • @TheTwoTravelersInMexico
      @TheTwoTravelersInMexico  9 месяцев назад

      Hi Dean, there was some weed smoking for sure and you're right about it being more expensive. The town had a hippie kind of vibe to it. The hippies got older and bought golf carts. We've been a few places in Mexico where people were smoking weed with cops right there. Maybe that's permitted as long as they're not trying to sell it. -Marc

    Don't care for Sayulita, over priced tourist trap, in my opinion. Prefer San Pancho.

      Ho loopspadilla7032, we get what you are saying about Sayulita for sure. It's more expensive and crowded. It was our first time there. Stay tuned for next weeks video. Hopefully you'll like it. -Marc
