Mental Health and the stigma attached to it | Ananya Chordia | TEDxDSBInternationalSchool

This talk is about mental illnesses and prevalent this issue is in today’s day and age. It throws light upon how we can talk about our mental health more openly and what are the steps we need to take to remove the stigma around mental “illnesses”. Ananya Chordia is a student of Oakridge International, she studied in the 11th grade and plans to pursue her career in the creative sphere. She comes from a beautiful hillside located in South India. When she was younger she would watch TED talks and educate herself upon various topics, over the years she always believed that her goals were within her reach and aspired to fulfil them all. Having given her first talk on mental health and the stigma around it, not only has she fulfilled a dream but also enlightened people on an extremely important topic that is rarely spoken about in India.
