I totally agree. For too long, BW have seen one another as competition creating hateful exchanges and being hyper critical towards one another. That has to change. I've been thinking about this topic for a few days now. Newly fuller Jr has a video with the same topic. The future of black women. I feel like this. What else can black women fight for????? There's nothing else to fight for. The system used black women up so now others have all the rights to come here and that even includes illegal immigration. Black women have been used since slavery with the birthright citizenship and now illegals can use this. Black women WERE the forefront to just about all of the marches for black people. Black women were also used and tricked into the bs feminist movement. Now even the successful blacken and women can't come together because of it. I know you think black women still have power in this country but in fact they DO NOT. what else can you fight for????. NOTHING, and stop fooling yourselfves into believing anything different. From now on if black women fight they will ONLY be mixed in with the other ethnicities NOT THE FORERONT OF THE MOVEMENT. it will be brown women from here on out they will take it from here. I wish us black men were more supportive but honestly we don't want to get locked up or killed and that's the truth. We are not cowards but we feel like we are in an open air prison. We sat back and watched our women fight for everyone and I feel less than a man for that. They system used the men to step on to make them feel superior but used black women to make a home for the new world order. Now its here and I'm afraid for black people more than ever. I have been working too many years to move abroad and have to work. I am four years from retirement. I have served in the military as well. I want to move abroad to regain control of my time, replenish my spirit and live my life the way I want without struggling to make money to live during retirement.
Hey there!! If you are 4 years away from retirement, consider tweaking your retirement and investment accounts to be sure that you are on the right path. Most times, I find that people are in underperforming funds. It's better to make some changes now than to find out later that you need to work a little longer. Consider booking some time with me to see if there is something that can be changed to better your returns. Either way, make your money work harder for you in this time.

Hello from the future. I am so sorry I missed this live. Ladies, I see this delusion with Black people in America. I do not understand that when I told some sisters that I am going to leave, they tell me this is the best country in the world. In this country only money talks. I am fortunate to have grown up outside the US and I am financially doing okay. I don’t have any debts, have a rented ADUI have my passport. I can leave and use my house as additional source of income. What I am lacking in is investment. I have a 403 B that I would like to be more actively growing. You are absolutely correct, MONEY TALKS! For sure sell out help to help grow your money. 403Bs are less regulated and tend to put people in insurance backed products. These underperform the market most times. Get with Adalia and if you need to get with me later. Either way, or your money in a better position to do the heavy lifting for you. Moving abroad is going to be difficult when your money is tied to the United States and the powers that be control the banks, credit union and retirement systems. They can cut your money sources off or prevent access when abroad. So how to prepare for this?
Your retirement goes wherever you go. White folks have been retiring and moving abroad for decades with their money. Do some research, you’d be surprised. You can have a place abroad and a place in the US if that’s a desire. Where there is a will there is a way.
Since the USA hate black people so much I hope they’re not paying us that much of attention. Remember nothing tried, nothing gained. Go forward regardless. Please don’t continue to be crippled by fear black people!

A lot of the ideas and suggestions were practical and thought-provoking, eg; Keep your passport on you when you go out, monetize intellectual property, and the reminder that the defunding of departments means bottle-necking of paperwork, and so much more. Hey there! I'm MOC and have traveled widely with no issues. I've been to Colombia and live in Mexico... ZERO ISSUES. I make sure that the places and spaces I visit don't present any obvious threats to me then I respect the culture. I did a video with Roshida Dowe during Pride month in this very topic. Go check it out. Don't be afraid to live your life with authenticity.
Consider also those who choose not to vote. I want everyone who elected this choice to deal with the consequences of their choices to the N degree. So their ignorance or bias will never again be at the forefront of any of their decisions where black women are involved. Reciprocity does not mean we are friends.
I feel incredibly inspired by these strong women ringing the alarm to get ready, as being prepared can be too late for those who choose to ignore it. It’s like I’ve been shouting into the wind. Thankfully, a few women have heard my message about the importance of being prepared, just like the ten virgins in the Bible!
The fact that it took this election for black women to realize how much we need each other is not good. Forming coalition now will not be out of love and loyalty to each other but out of necessity. When that news ain’t there anymore then any coalition will go away as well. Black women really have to do some serious soul searching in how we value each other. REALLY value each other.

I stumbled onto this conversation. I think it is great that my sisters are doing their thing. I agree that Black women have been used especially by the establishment and white women to be the soldiers to fight for rights that ultimately they want to take advantage of. We often take on other peoples struggles and combine them with ours as a unity front that we end up losing. Regarding reproductive rights, do women feel helpless dealing with them on state levels? Im from NY which is liberal when it comes to this.
So glad you are here. Actually, having had a long standing career as a Birthing Professional, NY is one of the worst places to give birth. it is very much "rushed deliveries" as a method of practice. I have had to counsel many, many Black, brown and other women through the birthing trauma they experienced having delivered in NYC hospitals.
Yes! My son actually asked us for this for Christmas this year. He specifically said instead of presents would we consider just helping them get their passports.
I grew up in Europe and Colorado. I lived in North Carolina for 30 years (too long). I moved back home to Colorado in 2022 after retirement, I have been telling people I want to buy a Tiny House, go into the Rocky Mountains and let "thems" have it!! People were laughing at me. There's plenty of places. HOWEVER, one can not tell you where to go. You must begin your research for yourself. Your place or places will unfold bc you are asking. Join FB groups. Go down the RUclips rabbit hole. Tiktok is another good place. Look at Numbeo and The Earth Awaits websites. Make sure you have your passport and a way to generate money online. That's enough to get you started.

I’ve tried befriending black women and have been met with arrogance dismissive was and some thought I was trying to hook up with them. Like….I’m just being friendly and making conversation. When I travel abroad and I’m friendly with other people they return the effort. We black women don’t like each other. We have so deeply internalized this self hatred that we can’t even see it.

Ladies get a tracker for your cycle… track your ovulation… pregnancy usually happens during or right before ovulation. So if you’re able to track it and use PROTECTION you should be able to avoid unplanned pregnancy. If you do have sex during ovulation or before just because be sure to check for pregnancy as soon as possible to increase your chances of options( in some states) … cause after six weeks it’s over. I’ve never been a fan of BC because of how it affects my body but my ovulation tracker and condoms has done well for me. 38.. still no kids…
I have a question, since America has their hand in other countries do you think what happens in America economically will also affect what is going to effect other countries?
Moving abroad isn’t the solution foe everyone, but it would be nice to do so if you can. Women need to put self first always, we have to stop purchasing from Ytfolks & Asians, only black owned and request African American Providers only in Healthcare, stop running out buying anything on Black Friday, just work on you!!

There are traveling groups. But, also consider joining FB groups in the city that you will visit. There are always people willing to have coffee or grab a break. And, many times, there are group events planned that you will be able to join in on.
The Net worth of the Black Family hits zero dollars (less than 60yrs) in the life-time of many of us, but most certainly in the lifetime of our children - make it make sense!

The fact that it took this election for black women to realize how much we need each other is not good. Forming coalition now will not be out of love and loyalty to each other but out of necessity. When that news ain’t there anymore then any coalition will go away as well. Black women really have to do some serious soul searching in how we value each other. REALLY value each other.

I stumbled onto this conversation. I think it is great that my sisters are doing their thing. I agree that Black women have been used especially by the establishment and white women to be the soldiers to fight for rights that ultimately they want to take advantage of. We often take on other peoples struggles and combine them with ours as a unity front that we end up losing. Regarding reproductive rights, do women feel helpless dealing with them on state levels? Im from NY which is liberal when it comes to this.
So glad you are here. Actually, having had a long standing career as a Birthing Professional, NY is one of the worst places to give birth. it is very much "rushed deliveries" as a method of practice. I have had to counsel many, many Black, brown and other women through the birthing trauma they experienced having delivered in NYC hospitals.

There's plenty of places. HOWEVER, one can not tell you where to go. You must begin your research for yourself. Your place or places will unfold bc you are asking. Join FB groups. Go down the RUclips rabbit hole. Tiktok is another good place. Look at Numbeo and The Earth Awaits websites. Make sure you have your passport and a way to generate money online. That's enough to get you started.

Just got mine a few months ago after letting my former one expire for over 10 years.
I’ve tried befriending black women and have been met with arrogance dismissive was and some thought I was trying to hook up with them. Like….I’m just being friendly and making conversation. When I travel abroad and I’m friendly with other people they return the effort. We black women don’t like each other. We have so deeply internalized this self hatred that we can’t even see it.
Unfortunately, I'm sure many of us can relate to this. However, be the community you want to attract and manifest them from there. You'll find your tribe

Ladies get a tracker for your cycle… track your ovulation… pregnancy usually happens during or right before ovulation. So if you’re able to track it and use PROTECTION you should be able to avoid unplanned pregnancy. If you do have sex during ovulation or before just because be sure to check for pregnancy as soon as possible to increase your chances of options( in some states) … cause after six weeks it’s over. I’ve never been a fan of BC because of how it affects my body but my ovulation tracker and condoms has done well for me. 38.. still no kids…

@brownsuga403 There's tons of groups on FB just type in what you want. Also there's Sisters Traveling Solo on IG. They come together and travel the world. Great way to get in community and meet like-minded women.
There are traveling groups. But, also consider joining FB groups in the city that you will visit. There are always people willing to have coffee or grab a break. And, many times, there are group events planned that you will be able to join in on.
We are one of the best influencers on the planet but( it feels to me) we do not monetize it.
