Square knot looks great
QUE GENIAL GRACIAS POR COMPARTIR
Thank you. Very cool
But these look very difficult to undo when tightened down. No quick release?
The easiest way I’ve found without tying difficult knots or making it hard to undo, is just pop an acorn or stone in the corner and wrap a slip knot around the corner and the acorn will lock the knot in place.. then you can easily just slip the knot open and you’re done.
These are pretty good too, I’ll try them out next time I’m moto-camping.
Yes!! I actualy saw it in a survival book used as a method to create a bag to carry stuff in if you dont have a backpack. I played around with that but youre gonna laugh .....i used my 3 year olds hard plastic blocks instead of rocks. Tied slipknots . The idea is i wanna try to see if i can make a hammoc using that. Well wife and me each held on to one end and swung my son around just above carpet. Knots dont come off the corners .
I use baseballs and tennis balls a lot as well.
Yep, stone in the corner trick is a in most Boy Scout and Millitary survival manuals ......I think ? Getting old now and don't look at them as I did in my younger days as I have been practicing much of that stuff for the last 45 to 50 years. I have been forcing myself on a bunch of new Knots over the last few years, culling out any knot that are hard to untie, liking the knots that with a quick snap come untied but yet secure. Don't tell me " you can't teach an old dog new trick " I took a rope a few months ago from some young men and quickly showed them how to raise a 16 ft wall and rack and pull some walls to plumb and brace, involved some double trucker hitches, loops and what .......knots ! When finishing I quickly popped all the loops and knot out .They were very impressed and one of them said " bet you've been tying them knots for decades " I said hell no boys , I learned them knots over the last few months on the internet and utube.........we laughed and laughed 😆
Muy práctico 👏👏👏

thank you
A normal sheet bend would also have worked?
i love it C:
Smart paracord technics I love it :). Deap respect
You may also, put small stone or cap of bottle to connor of tent, and make simple loop from rope, then throw this loop on a resulting lump and tighten loop.

Good hands,tnx. :)
Hey there!!
For "number 2" or another option on that, could you put say a small stone inside the fabric and then tighten around that? That way you don't have overhand knots in the corners of the fabric.
Just a thought.
Yes you can. I have a book from a survival instructor using that method also. In case you want to create a backpack from tarp for ect.
Niiiicccceeeeee!
Very similar to the hangman's knot.
Wow! Nice vid.
Seems like the first and last ones would be easiest to undo. Trying and overhand know in the fabric makes me think it would be nearly impossible to get out
la numero 3
Great video, just wondering which of them are easiest to unloose?
My guess is the square knot.
He only used one knot in the video. The overhand on the tarp was just to create something to attach to.
the first and 3rd would be easy.
You mean loosen?
None of them. This is more of a demo for the featured knot. They all do the job of holding the load but they are only fit for rather permanent setups. If you need to set up / take down your shelter frequently, a sheet bend with the rope around a bight in the corner of the tarp would be recommended.
Looks like a modified jam knot

Nice video, my friend! And very cozy camp and shelter! Enjoying watching it a lot! Good luck in your adventures! By the way, welcome to my channel in which I sharesome Russian survival skills. Best wishes, Yuriy!
A Bowline knot would work equally as well. I would suggest adding another way which is taking a small rubber ball under the cloth, slip your knot over, then tighten up
A bowline does not tighten.
@@procompsys you do know how a Bowline knot works don't you?
@@guyh.4553 Always thought so...
"The bowline ... is a knot to form a fixed loop..."
You can simply put a rock in your tarp and tie the knot around .
I sometimes forget, people have never camped in florida. We don't have rocks here believe it or not. Well at least not super common- nature occurring ones.
@@johnwalker7592 Wow, the world is a strangle place lol! Good video!

Yeah, now I'm untie it.
scaffold knot is pretty easy to untie my amigo
You should never show any of those knots when you have two different materials and you're not using some sorts of tail end quick release. If it gets wet and taught you're going to have hard time getting it apart and you can't break it apart when it's soft fabric.
Good info but whats with tge softcore porn music in the background?
Added music spoiled it 👎🏻
