I wonder if it’s difficult, or rather, if it’s a matter of tuning in an attempt to match the original vs tuning to your own style! I imagine other covers might have tried to match the original, which has a more ‘raw’ sound to it. I lean more towards inhuman/perfectionist sounding covers, thus this sounding fairly different from the original! But inspired by covers that took a similar approach :>>
