The jolt reskin is called the Ace SD-1. It's just the old alpha strike stinger with a new, larger outer shell. Hilariously they get great seals even with no o rings. You can in fact get the AR out if you remove the outer shell, which is much easier to do on the stinger. The rear cap is clipped, you can just pry it off and the AR falls right out.
If I’m honest I think this is a true testament to modders tenacity and perseverance since despite all these limitations we still find ways to mod even the half way decent blasters hasbro makes. I salute you good sir
Yeah I was pretty surprised by the seal on those plungers - I think the cost is longevity, if the plunger ever wears out, there’s no way to renew the seal.
Tha k you! The orange "stick" from the air drum bent and got stuck in the spring. With your video, I could fix it and put it together again! I think the white thing that gave you troubles was a pain in the arese. I think that the part that pulls back the air drum is very small and not very well designed, as it disengages constatly. Got an eaglepoint and was really sad to see it break Used this video to help me fix it If anyone had the same problem where you cant prime it might be because the white part on the plunger tube rod (the catch part) misaligned itself and no longer moves when you move the bolt
You know… if this took shells (double shells that you can buy separately) had no smart AR and better equipment the technician could actually be really cool with a paint job too! (And a stock that holds shells like the sledge fire that can be 3D printed) it would be a double barrel shotgun that takes shells looks neat and could actually be used!
I was thinking about that, and I wanted to know how much empty space it wasn't using, and this video showed me that this weapon could fit a some trilogy parts, obviously wouldnt have she'll ejecting but I could fit the top loading part if there is space
Why do Hasbro include the mixture of a big 2 shot, medium 4 shot and a tiny, single shot blasters? Don't look at these from an adult's perspective. These are aimed primarily at a younger audience, they're cheap toys that can be safely used inside the home or small garden. Kids are just as interested in aesthetics and how cool something looks, as they are in how they actually perform. Being cheap, kids will probably get different sets or individual blasters too, so they get to try different designs with various trade offs... but they all shoot darts at a broadly similar velocity.

@@FamilyFoamsport it has a very bad crackling sound and the drum won't rotate I think it happened because of slam fire even though Hasbro says its a slam fire gun I'm off to get a new one unless you have any solutions
@@GameCity678 the slim fire max that Hasbro has been putting out recently are pretty questionable in a few different ways. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if that broke it. Without pictures of the inside of your blaster though, it’s hard to specifically diagnose a problem like that.
The Technician is an embarrassment. It wouldn't have been much more expensive to make a mini Trilogy without the ejection mechanism (just pull back the pump to open the side door and tip the used shell out). Although the more triangular Sledgefire shells would have worked better in the simple design I'm imagining.
On the Eaglepoint? I don’t think it’s all that much lighter than the average Elite blaster, but it benefits from a properly sealed plunger head and a decent sized plunger tube.
When you manufacture tens or even hundreds of thousands of each model, costs soon mount up when you spend one extra £ or $ per unit. There's a distinct possibility of people damaging the blaster whilst trying to mod it, and then claiming it's faulty and trying to get a replacement under warranty. It's a time consuming and relatively expensive process figuring out what is a genuine manufacturing fault or a user's accidental damage. With cheaper blasters, it's literally not worth Hasbro paying someone to log, disassemble, diagnose and repair a faulty item, it costs them far more than the item is worth. They just replace the whole unit. So why bother making them easy to get in to and more expensive to manufacture?

i manage to clip the air restrictor pins from behind the barrel and now it misfires and doesnt rotate consistantly :(
