Can you enable two different custom eq settings on both speakers in TWS mode to make one treble-heavy and the other base-heavy? If this is possible then one can become a base speaker and the other can offer non-base sound --- combining them could give a complete frequency profile. Planning to buy both as pairs. I got 2 stormbox 2 and 2 stormbox flow and 1 xsound plus these recent speaker you can stereo pair with each other. my favorite to pair is 1 stormbox 2 (good highs and mids nice surround sound) and 1 stormbox flow (good warm deep bass) It sounds amazing with 2 different speakers with different tuning

The price difference is quite significant now, you can grab the x sound plus 2 at just 4699 with coupon but the storm box 2 pro got a price hike and is now 5,999, which makes x sound plus 2 a much better deal now, when the price is identical go fir the storm box 2
The stormbox 2 is built (better for the outdoor adventures and has the lanyard and also easier to “Grand and go” and the audio coking from both sides (almost a complete surround sound). So I’d say it’s better for outdoor activities however the X sound plus 2 would be my pick for listening indoors where you can place it down in one spot (it’s still fine for outdoors just not as ideal as stormbox 2’s design). Both are great speakers for the price

flip has a dedicated tweeter, so high frequencies will be a bit better on it. This one also has some advantages over the flip. Edit: didn't know flip 5 didn't have a dedicated tweeter. This should be around as good as flip 5.
@@TechReflex no bro flip 4 has 2 speakers (16W), but flip 5 has only 1 race track speaker (24 W)no tweeter . Then after getting hate . Jbl flip 6 has ra e track speaker + 1 tweeter (30W) and yes its far better than bassy flip 5. Also got better specs - bt 5.3 , aux, mic, app , custom eq, big battery, stero pair in 1 speaker .

Big Mistake! I bought StormBox 2 after watching this review BUT I found out the speakers have 200ms of audio lag. I just can't use it with my laptop fr watching Netflix, movies n all cuz the video and audio don't sync.

xsound 2 plus has a freq response of 50hz-20kz where as stormbox 2 has 70hz-20khz...so for bass, i think xsound plus 2 will sound even better
