Hondo Harrelson recruits Jim Street to join an elite unit of the Los Angeles Police Department. Together they seek out more members, including tough Deke Kay and single mom Chris Sanchez. The team's first big assignment is to escort crime boss Alex Montel to prison. It seems routine, but when Montel offers a huge reward to anyone who can break him free, criminals of various stripes step up for the prize.

The reason why there was such confusion with the team during the helicopter crash was because half the team heard their team leader shout, "HONEY, WHERE'S MY SUPER SUIT" while the other half saw him step out of an SUV on the ground level then vaporize before their eyes.

Honestly the only thing that gets to me is the fact that the helicopter going down like that was a lot more likely to kill the guy the sniper was trying to break out
Well you got to think first off he's a big time criminal, if he kills the guy he loses his shot at the money yes but he's a big time criminal so he doesn't lose sleep over the death, oh well. But also there is no way for him to anticipate that the helicopter was going to go toward them all when it crashed rather than away.

@@MS_PrdThe helicopter wasn’t even landing on the helipad. The helicopter was lowering to the edge of the building, which the SWAT team was also facing as if to pick them up from the buildings edge without landing. A helicopter pilot would never get that low while being that far off from where they were landing on. They would be directly over their landing site at that height, which was around only 20ft.

@@MS_Prd Are you seriously one of those idiots who turns their little brains off just cause you’re too lazy and/or simple-minded to use logic and common sense to think about what you're watching? They weren’t using the helipad so you‘re wrong. You don’t get to just act like something is the case when it's clearly not just because you're too lazy to think it through. And there’s no need for math, you really come off as dumb. You just need to watch the scene to know where the helicopter, the helipad, and the area and you can make reasonable determinations just by thinking things through.

Realistically that important of a criminal catch and that much initial aggression would have had them bring in a whole hell of a lot bigger of a convoy with tons of feds involved before ever leaving that fortress of a police station.
