The Momotarou family went outside at around 9:30 am to eat breakfast.
It was hot that day as well, so the door to their room opened at 11 am.
Wanting to get back to his room quickly, Kintaro went in first.
But when Genki didn't come in, Kintaro got worried and went outside again to look for her.
When Genki went in, Kintaro went in as well.
In the cool room, Genki and Kintaro started to take a nap.

⭐️Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
Born in Ueno Zoo on July 3, 2000.
His father is Biju and his mother is Momoko.
His father died before he was born and he grew up never knowing his father.
He came to Kyoto City Zoo in 2010 and is now a father of two sons.
⭐️Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Born on June 24, 1986 at the Kyoto City Zoo.
Her father is Mack and her mother is Hiromi.
When she was 10 years old, she went to Ueno Zoo for breeding purposes.
But she had a bad relationship with another female gorilla, and she injured her fingers and toes with her self-mutilation and lost a lot of weight.
When she returned to her hometown of Kyoto City Zoo, she was fine, and she lived with various male gorillas.
Then she met Momotaro and she gave birth to two lovely sons whom she lovingly raised.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at the Kyoto City zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
He is very close with his younger brother Kintaro and they play together almost every day.
⭐️Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at Kyoto City Zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.

Gentaro makes me smile, he really teases Momontaro to come and chase him. Plus he is really the most handsome gorilla and growing in stature every week.
That is not a tease. He is trying to challenge his father, and if he keeps it up he is going to get hurt. It is very irresponsible for this zoo to leave him here this long.

Hes bored. Theres not much to do here. And its not that big. Honestly its a glorified prison.
@@trenken Pls study gorillas.they eat,sleep,move, mate and forage.Momotaro even uses the computer.this is all he has ever known.i don't think bored is a feeling they even know.Silverbacks protect and take care of their family.that is his job.
@@lynngold1865 gorillas are used to patrolling a 12 square mile area on average. Its in their nature regardless of if they ever lived in the wild or not. Momo attacks his sons and genki fairly regularly. He is not playful like d’jeeco is who has a much larger area and 2 wives. Momo didnt choose genki like male gorillas would naturally do. He was forced to live with her. You arent going to convine me he is a happy gorilla. I watch so many gorilla videos for years. I know what happy silverbacks look like.
@@trenkenyou obviously have a not watched this group long. Momo doesn't attack anybody regularly, unless they step out of line. And he played with gentaro every day growing up until kintaro got old enough to play with him. He played with gentaro more than dejeeco ever has. Watching a group for a short period of time and thinking you know them is ridiculous. However I would have to agree with the part about genki. He never would have chosen her, and I am sure he would be happier with a female that is his own age and not mentally ill.

Yeah they gotta get him outta here soon. He should have left a couple years ago so he can find a companion and start his own family. The zoo said they are trying to move him out this year. Hope it happens.
@@trenken yes he need to start his family, but I would love for him to stay with his family, I think the zoo keepers love him so much they want to keep him, I do understand he must leave, when he leave I'm gonna miss him so much.
@@ritahughes7639 the zoo already said earlier this year they are trying to find a new home for him. They have no choice. Starting a family of his own is critically important for him, but his other issue is he fights with momo a lot. You cant have 2 adult male silverbacks together in an enclosure like this. Its too dangerous. Momo wants him to leave.
Genki has had some very important sessons with MoMo ,he has settled down so much ,maybe Genki showed him how to deal with all his sad thoughts ,she is amazing ❤️
Genki isn't mentally capable of handling her own life, how is she going to teach him. Momo is in his prime now. He is at the point where he is maturing naturally, she hasn't done anything to help him.

@@marilynmicoletti2812 its true that it took both of them. But to say that she taught him anything is ridiculous. Yes, he was young and inexperienced, of course, he was only 10 years old. But she was just as awkward and mixed up as he was. The only thing she has taught is kintaro on how to be greedy with food. And how to be disgusting.

And like I said, when it comes to momo, there isn't anything that she taught him. It was more like they were learning together.

Gentaro just keeps poking the bear. I guess he didn't learn his lesson the other day when momo sent him to the corner crying and sucking his finger. This zoo is very irresponsible to leave gentaro here for this long.
