People have no idea the insane inputs that are required just to play proper footsies in VF5. There is no game out there that is half as technical, not even Tekken. Proper movement in VF5 is the equivalent of an endless complex combo in any other game. I've played Tekken and VF both for over 20 years, and the only reason i've played Tekken more than VF is because they're still making games. Without a doubt, VF is (in my opinion) a far superior game. Tekken has mostly gotten worse ever since Harada got off his leash, with every innovation to the series mechanics moving it further away from what made the game unique and bringing it more into line with every other stock standard fighting game trend. So far T8 is a hard pass for me, SF6 is looking great and i'd much rather have VF6 than most other games, let alone any other fighting game right now.
@@Haka-f3k-u Yes, Tekken went downhill big time in 7 and now 8 is looking dreadful. VF has never compromised the simplicity of the system while also maintaining the insane complexity of the gameplay. I'm surprised how many people are not into the animations of this game.. if anything, its one of the few games that actually look fun to watch because of the flow in combat, where in TEKKEN (despite its realism) breaks the flow most of the time..
