AND YET AND YET after all of that, he finds the need to apologise when he decides to cut back on content ever so slightly

My favorite type of videos that I constantly watch are about rare Lego parts, rare Lego electronics, rare Lego technic parts, etc... Basically just the rarest or most unique parts in a certain category. I could watch them all day, these videos make me realize that I might have the part mentioned in the video and makes me want to search for it in my collection. A cool idea I am looking into is Lego parts not made out of plastic. I found a cool Lego metal tow hook the other day, and since then have been looking to see what other parts have been made for the Lego system that aren't plastic.
My family really enjoys your videos, but we miss a lot because you have so many. We have been watching you for the last couple of years. We look forward to whatever you have planned. Good luck.

Watched it until the end and good for you! I am probably 1/8 as busy as you and i can only manage 1 video per week.
I think overall it will be a great change in the long run, though you are probably correct that the algorithm will require a readjustment period
I still dont know how you have the time to do all of this but it's beyond impressive. Looking forward to hearing the new news and ventures.

This is a fantastic decision. I didn't really watch the channel anymore because of the content dump it was.
It is very difficult to see which videos are truly interesting & which is just more of the same old.
My favorite type of Lego content is R.R. Slugger's. The deep-dive into themes or even strange colours/bricks is awesome.
Set reviews on the other hand have been done to death & you can clearly see across the online space that they simply don't get the views they used to.

Seeing you walking around hurriedly and excitedly and interacting with your LEGO vigorously always left me agitated and anxious, like, "please slow down, be careful, you'll knock something over, or damage the printing on that minifig!" 😂
As for cutting back to a video every other day.. dude.. I worked for a couple decades in I.T. and with how draining that was, I wouldn't be able to produce a single video in a month let alone every other day, if I had a channel! The energy and passion you have is truly remarkable, and with that AUGR side venture it seems you have some very altruistic visions, so please do make sure you don't risk burning yourself out!! You're too valuable! 🤩🤗
Congrats on your exciting ventures in life. Don’t spread yourself too thin and focus on your career. This is a hobby and put out content when you can anf not put too much pressure to yourself. Good luck
I woul personally love to see more deep dives or discoveries from the themes I love (Bionicle, Herp Factory, Ninjago, Chima, Nexo Knights) but anything that will work for the channel, I will watch

We watch this channel for your fantastic access to the LEGO world, your deep dives into your amazing collection, and your crazy knowledge of some obscure pieces. That might be difficult to maintain until you build your Museum of Bricks but as long as LEGO keeps sending you stuff to build we’ll keep watching. Loved the unboxing of purchased collections please follow up on those and other brick hauls. Always subscribed

On a side note: duck bricks, as much fun as making videos may be to you, it’s still good to take breaks between uploads, we all love your content and would all be fine with longer times between each video release, can’t wait to see the new types of videos you’re gonna put out, also imo these just talking videos are quite nice aswell.

Chris, this is an amazing decision! You seem to be such a busy person, and the ammount of time and effort you put into this channel is unbeliveable. Every video of yours is a joy to watch (or a slightly unhinged thriller in the case of your crystal and empirium army vid lol). I know we all support this so much, and a video every 2 days is still more than the vast majority of content creators out there. You do whatever suits your life style at the moment, we'll all be here watching your videos no matter how many you make :)

I can't imagine having energy to do half of what you do. Take care of yourself and don't burn yourself out. You gotta find what's best for yourself and sustainable over time. Good luck!

That’s true about the hard worked on videos were being overshadowed, it was hard to tell if it was a quick one or detailed one at first glance.
Behind the scenes looks at Lego history/themes or just rare Lego items are the kind of videos I like to see
Don’t worry about the YT algorithm and your video frequency. Like us, the algorithm loves you. Your only concern should be the volume of hugs you’ll get at Brickworld ‘25! ❤️🐝🐝

I think your new schedule will be greatly beneficial. As a viewer there are videos I can tell you put a lot of time in to that don't get looked at as much as they should. I think this will help your videos have a chance to breathe in the algorithm and help you not feel the need to crunch.

I fully support your decision to slow things down a bit. You already have about a million videos that we can watch so please don't worry about that.

Every single day is insane, i think this is a great choice! I got super into your channel with the bionicle lore and i’ll always be around because of the effort you made. I think if it’s best for the channel that’s good but also it’s best for you too and that’s a great thing.
Daily uploads seem like a grind. It will also increase burnout. So I like these changes.

Although subscribed for a year or two I didn't know you put a video out every day. I don't have notifications on but I only look through the subscriptions page and I'm surprised I don't see your videos popping up that often which is a shame.
I almost finished moving on for the second time in two years, my Bionicle collection is 1300km away from me (i bought a few with me), but it is always very hard.
Can't wait to see more from your channel, especially Bionicle content!

I actually thought that DuckBricks was your primary job now. The thought that you have a full time tech job, starting a new company, and you do everything for this too, is astounding. I honestly have no idea how you function with that magnitude of stuff in your schedule. You're a remarkable person Chris.
I can't say that I have a favorite video type. I tend to just see what you have out and if it interests me at the time. I'm sure the YT Algorithm Beast will punish you for a little while, but once it sees what you're doing it will be fine. You go at whatever pace is comfortable for you. I know you're young, but there's no reason to seek burnout.
