- The Civic Center is an area and neighborhood in Lower Manhattan, Manhattan, New York City, that encompasses New York City Hall, One Police Plaza, the courthouses in Foley Square, the Metropolitan Correctional Center, and the surrounding area.
Vibrant Chinatown is a densely populated neighborhood that draws foodies and tourists to its many Chinese and Southeast Asian restaurants for dumplings, pork buns and hand-pulled noodles. The busy sidewalks are packed with souvenir stores, bubble tea shops, and markets selling everything from fresh and dried fish to herbs and spices.

뉴욕 시청 관공서들이 즐비한 거리 바로 옆에 차이나 타운이 형성되어 있군요!

중국인들은 세계 어딜 가나 자기들만의 타운을 만들어 사니 여기서도 영락없는 그들만의 분위기로 뉴욕 맨해튼 한 귀퉁이에 둥지를 틀고 있네요. 차이나 분위기를 물씬 느낄 수 있었습니다. 한국 거리도 좀 더 활성화 되었으면 좋겠다는 생각도 들고 다행히 요즘은 뉴욕에서도 한국 음식점들이 아주 고급 레스토랑으로 오픈들을 하고 있다는 소식은 듣고 있네요^^ 이참에 함씩 김치 생각날 때 그런 곳도 들러보심 어떨런지요?^^;; ㅋㅋㅋ
아무튼 오늘 뉴욕시의 구,신 시청사를 비롯하여 법원 청사 등 정말 멋지고 고풍스럽고 거대한 건물들과 거리들 정말 잘 보았고 그리고 바로 곁 차이나 타운 특유의 생동감 넘치는 거리들도 구경 잘했어요^^ 정말 모든 인류의 문화가 다 모여 있는 뉴욕의 변화무쌍한 모습 잘 봤습니다. 앨리스 덕분에 뉴욕을 샅샅이 잘 둘러 보네요^^ 감사해요 앨리스!^0^🤩💝🥗🍜🦐🍒

시빅센터에 오면 마치 유럽에 와 있는 듯 해요! 맞아요,시청을 비롯해 그 주변의 분위기가 너무 고풍스럽고 멋져요! 😍

한국식당들도 많이 오픈을 하고 있는데 예전과 다르게 고급진 분위기로 오픈을 해서인지 가격이 장난이 아니에요.😮

Alice, it was fantastic exploring Chinatown with you. Especially the areas from Mott St to Bowery. I could eat there for days at the many restaurants and stroll through the grocery stores because there is so much to explore. Their meal at Thái Sơn looked delicious and proved once again that you don't necessarily have to go to a Michelin-starred restaurant to enjoy something special. After I finished watching your video, I immediately went looking for a Vietnamese crepe recipe that I wanted to try as soon as possible. Thank you, my precious and inspiring friend. @@WalkingAlice Surely in New York there are Indonesian restaurants, you have to try rendang, rendang is beef cooked using coconut milk and spices, it's really delicious you have to try it, Alice has lots of Indonesian dishes, because Indonesia has a variety of cultures, so you have to try it yourself by coming to Indonesia, there are lots of delicious foods in Indonesia, If in New York you find an Indonesian restaurant, and the owner is from Indonesia, you have to try it, okay 🥰👍
