But I do think they don't ever go into real depth of what it feels like for the second girl lead. They seem to go more in depth with second male lead. Idk

I swear to God there is always this hug scene where the daft female lead pulls the male lead into a hug without an inkling that she is emotionally damaging the second lead forever, turning him into an empty shell craving for affection that he so generously spent on a person who gave it away to somebody else.

Junghwan from Reply 1988 was in the video for a split second, and it reminds me of when i cried like hell when i realized Junghwan will not end up with Deoksun, it still aches my heart until now. i don't know if Junghwan can be called a second lead because the setting of the drama doesn't really put it that way, and damn he had a lot of chance to be with Deoksun and he blew it off, partly because he really cared that much of his friends, so when he knew sunwoo "like" her and taek like like her, he couldn't do anything but surrender. and partly just because of his personality, he doesn't know how to express his true feelings to anyone. but he loved Deoksun so bad to the point everyone who watches could see it. omg its super long im sorry, i just adored junghwan's character very badly. i can literally talk about the drama and junghwan for hours just because i really really loved it. the post depression is the worse. it's hard to watch another drama after you watch reply 1988, at least for me. now 5 years has passed and im still haven't moved on. how sad. anyway, YOUR EDIT IS SOOO BEAUTIFUL OMG BLESS YOU THANKYOU. i just found out about you haha❤

You know what I hate about the waters of drama's? They make the perfect person for us to fall in love with, and when they don't end up with the lead, it doesn't occur in their mind to , I dunno, PUT SOMEONE ELSE IN THEIR LIFE!!! Like I understand that they won't end up with the firsts, but at least let them heal from their heartbreak permanently with someone else in their lives to date. They may say they don't hurt anymore, but they do. It isn't easy to get over someone, especially is you have loved them for years. We know will get heartbroken, cause in our hearts, we all never saw ourselves with them. We just wanted them to be happy, even if we aren't the ones who make them happy. But what hurts is seeing them happy with someone else, while never having someone yourself. That's why I understand second leads, because they remind me of myself.
