- Turtle Talk with Crush is a 15-minute chat with our favorite sea turtle from Finding Nemo, though we love Disney’s description of this attraction better. They say, “Shoot the breeze under the seas…” Turtle Talk takes place over in World Nature in the same building as the ride, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at Epcot in Walt Disney World. Let’s dig into just how does Turtle Talk with Crush work.

Whoever is voicing crush in this is a really funny dude. They must do standup comedy or something,
You literaly explained nothing in this video...Of course there is camera and a CM who voices the Crush.
Animations and live mocap/ acting.
i would love to see what it looks like behind the scenes
As a programmer i was wondering how this was programmed and how can ai b so reactive but now i understand 😂😂
I'm kind of curious how Disney managed to donate Turtle Talk with Crush to a children's hospital, when it needs a highly-skilled voice actor to operate at all. Does Disney also pay for the actor's salary?
@@DanielBozanic Hmm...maybe the same voice actor does both shows?
i’m gonna go with yes or the hospital pays for it
I could see it be a volunteer thing. Being part of their job is to enjoy talking to kids for hours on end. If I was in the same job and really enjoyed it, then Disney asked if I could do something for kids. I'd 💯 do it. Some those kids could of even seen the show before hand, nothing is better than having the same experience visit them instead. There is people out there that it's their hobby to make a sick child smile.
Ima guess that it's probably the same actors going to the children's hospital and trying out their material there first and bringing back what actually works to the stage. Kinda like what comics do.
They have volunteer actors that do it
Crush was doing VTubing long before V-Tubing was cool, and I love it.
Is that the real voice actor of crush?!
I always thought there was a team of operators in another room who can choose between a lot of pre recorded voice lines and scenes.
No, there are various actors. If you watch multiple videos you can hear they are different people
Actually the FIRST Disney attraction donated to outside the Parks is the Midget Autopia. It was given by Walt and Roy in 1966 to the children of their hometown Marceline Missouri after it was removed from Disneyland to make room for It’s a Small Wirld. It operated for 11 years in Marceline.
Haha it may have originated at WDW but he definitely speaks the “native language” of California. 😂
Great video, learn something new everyday!!
Thanks we had a ton of fun putting this together!
He's a vtuber huh
Shout out to bro with the Tatum jersey
Who controls his facial expressions? The puppeteers ?
I should ask him what his favorite video game and he will ask me what my favorite video game my is Kingdom Hearts
Would love to hear what he has to say about video games under the sea!
It's a tad bit like vtubing XD
ow live actor, thought it was an ai, but still cool
This didn't explain
like no shit bruh u didnt give us any bts info
Stitch live is better imo
is this AI?
Did you not watch the vid??
Definitely not. It’s a very old attraction that’s been around a while.
Ai did not exist yet
This attraction kinda bites. You just sit there. And it's not even the ACTUAL voice actor from the film!
Yeah if your looking for a thrill ride this isn't the attraction to stop at, but if you have kids it's a great interactive show for them!
I am guessing that Andrew Stanton would be there doing the voice of Crush for 16 hours straight 7 days a week, LOL.
Let’s think about this practically though.
Yeah you sit there. It’s from an animated film. If it was a glass tank with a real swimming turtle, it wouldn’t work, even with the interaction of speaking. It’s also mainly for the kiddos and they all seem to really enjoy it.
The voice actor would cost the park a fortune if he was voicing crush every day this goes on. Also the actor has aged and the voice will get worse and worse fast if this is him every day for years. What they have at this point works.
You have the right to have your opinion and I’m not saying all this being rude. Promise. I just think you might be judging a bit harder than needed. He’s funny and sounds pretty accurate to the film, and the kids seem to love it. Don’t take that from them please.
Have a great day:)
@@andresolivera7787That would be wild dude
What a Karen demand. You want the actual voice actor from the film to be working in a Disneyland attraction, instead of doing other voice acting work? That's such a wilddddd thing to ask for.
