Normally yes, but since this was planned ahead of time with the Disney staff and crew, they made one exception and this was most likely a Disney photographer who know and is trained professionally. They mostly don't want random flash photography as it will not only ruin the illusion, but could mess with technology or hidden cameras for the person playing crush, going back to illusion ruined. : P
