This video brought back many memories for this ol' guy. I made my living at a desk job, but my best friend was a real estate developer. His sons were set up as the excavators for his developments. When they had a day that a crew member didn't show up, I got a call asking if I wanted a "mental health day" on the machines making roads in the developments. I used to run the vibra packer, and do very, very rough dozer work. My astigmatism kept me from getting grades right. I was ok pushing the spoil back over sewer pipes and such. I cherished each hour on those machines. Thank you again for a good message, keeping ourselves clean from this world! We started each day with prayer together before mounting up. It was a great time many years ago!
Sounds like a great crew to work with. I really enjoy the jobs like this. Hoping to move more to the bigger jobs. Moving equipment every day isn't fun anymore...😃 Glad you enjoyed the message...
That's exactly right! Nothing more important than our relationship with Christ. There is a day coming when that's all that will matter! I sure appreciate you supporting the channel. God Bless, Sam
Great message! Too make you feel real safe you need to know I flew over the top of you today 😁. You know me and Gary might be kin seeing as we have the same last name. But we are all brothers and sisters in the family of Christ. Have a blessed day!
Thanks Kenny. I thought I heard someone hollering at me from the sky! Well, yall might just be kinfolk then. Thanks for watching the message and encouragement on it. Have a blessed week.
Figured it was time to turn back and check out the other vids you had in store. Good stuff. I enjoy your videos. I think I’ve told you we have that same dozer at work but I haven’t gotten to play in it. I went out and scoped some more work to do in my buddies d4h this weekend. I think I need to make a video of it. I’ll have to do it on my free time but if this weather keeps up I’m sure I’ll have some free time. Thanks for another great message about the forgiveness of our father. Keep up the good work!!
Oh yeah! Plenty of good ones from days gone by. Yup, a video of the D4 would be good. I'm with you on the free time. We are getting hammered with rain all week. Don't know what I can even do a video on this week. Kind of a bummer. Maybe they will let you in the dozer at work for some seat time. I love the dozer work. Appreciate you giving the older videos a look.
@@tristardiggin you bet. It’s usually at my bosses dads shop. He does more of the piece work and pads and clearing etc. We almost always do gas line install and replacement. If we get this ice storm this week they are talking about I may be in the shop making vids. It’s a tough time of year.

Morning Sam. Hope your are having a wonderful morning. Glad to see that job finished. Man that was a long driveway. They will definitely have some privacy. Thanks for sharing
I knew when I saw the mud this had to be a couple months ago. That is a very long drive way - I'd hate to be writing the checks for all that rock! Isn't it crazy how only a few short years ago pulp wood was actually worth something. Now, it is pushed up and burned 🤔. Great video and message.
Thank you Lynn and I'm glad you found it too. Thanks for supporting the channel. Channel growth means we reach more folks with the message. God Bless, Sam
This was interesting seeing how a road is made. My dad told me that roller machine was called "sheep`s feet".I believed him. He also told me, when I asked him what happened to old navy ships, that they were made into razor blades! I believed that until I grew up! That dozer is amazing, it must be fun driving it. Says she, who can`t drive at all. Is there any part of Tennessee that is flat? I watched a lot of videos about a little girl called Summer Wells who disappeared a couple of years ago in Tennessee. The terrain around the area was so mountainous I despaired that she would ever be found. Loved todays video and message.
Sounds like your Dad had a sense of humor! East Tennessee has a lot of Mountain areas and rolling hills. As you move towards West Tennessee is gets really flat. I really enjoy the dozer, it's my favorite. There is a series of videos on the project you just watched. I think there is like 5 or so videos showing that job from start to finish. Pretty cool to see what all went into getting back to the house site and building the pad for the house...
We need to get you some tires with traction Sam lol. I just switched over to the Mickey Thompson Baja boss AT on my dually. Haven’t been stuck in anything yet. Them tires will excavate you a way out. They do come in 14 ply as well. Quiet on the road too
@@tristardiggin you will be happy making the switch. And they are rated 5 stars for winter weather. Always look forward to the Sermon at the end of each video. Keep us posted on the ez slide. Best regards and god bless Nick
Sammy, Jon here Awesome video beautiful scenery it all looks Awesome. So I thought only Anchor got stuck so does this mean that we have to name your truck also 🤔 😅 Thanks for sharing 👍🏻 ALL
I generally don't get it stuck, but twice in one day is a record. Well, it already has a name! My wife named it "cusser". She went with me to look at it and she was setting in the truck we drove there. I got back in the truck with her and she said "he sure is a cusser" so that's why she named it that. 😁
Started around 1 year ago and I have found youtube growth is very slow. But it's picking up some steam. So, I appreciate you watching and commenting that is what helps the channel. Thanks, Sam
This whole project is SWEET ! Start to the end of this ,that road looks like a mile or so anyway you sure a well rig will be able to make it up that hill? You Sam do a great job for a 1man operation.WOW that's a long steep road. Thank you for the message. I just saw all your videos on this project you didna really nice job👏👍

LOL! After the last job I had to walk long distance up and down hills I swore the next job like it I would rent a side by side to track in and out. 👍 Nice work. Ia that the same job you cut a pad on in an earlier video?
Yup, a lot of walking sometimes for sure. It is the same job site where I cut the pad for the house. I just jumped the gun on editing the pad video before the others. Thanks, Sam
That was cheating using the 308 to lift out your truck. lol. As a one man operation, you have to use what you have and you do it well. I liked what you said in the message about washing your feet because they are in contact with the world as it relates to examining your sin each day and asking for forgiveness.
Until today I don't think that I knew the meaning of Jesus bathing the feet Unfortunately what it reminds me of are the people that wash their feet in the sink at the truck stop
