Just found this channel today and this was such an awesome conversation. Thembe is such an inspirational woman and her worldview is aligned to mine in so many ways ❤
A positive mindset helps countries bounce back from adversity. When faced with challenges whether economic, social, a hopeful perspective encourages resilience and adaptability. It enables leaders to find creative solutions and rally citizens toward progress. This woman uyababa ungu chillis 🌶🌶🌶🌶
This is a very beautiful woman with a beautiful mind.❤
My goodness, this woman is beautiful in every way; mentality, physically, spiritually, energetically, etc... As if all the aforementioned isn't already exceptional, she also manages to possess so much wisdom, insight, intelligence, self-awareness, and calming divine feminine energy.❤ It's impossible not to fall in love with her unless you are heartless.😂
Yet after all is said and done, my heart breaks because l am sobered by the reality that they don't make them like her anymore in my generation... Nonetheless, this was truly a superb interview!🙏🏾✨️
Well said
I would’ve struggled to interview her… well done interviewer 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥
...my only regret was too young for Thembe Khumalo...🎶🎶
She has got beautiful voice and very intelligent.
I think Zimbabweans don't really speak against their country, they speak against poor leadership. Imagine you have a men given a tender to build a 100MW solar power plant, but fails to deliver. The next thing he is always giving away very expensive cars to celebrities. For a small town like Gwanda 100MW is a lot and not only Gwanda was going to benefit, the whole Mat South Province and indeed Zimbabwe as a whole.
Pension funds NSSA looted no one arrested or at least recover the loot. These are some of the many things we speak against. We will never speak against our country. Politicians will come and go but our God given Zimbabwe always be there and we should never allow anyone to destroy it.
Otherwise keep up the good work Makhumalo.
I have known her, went to the same church and beat myself for not even greeting her.
Great interview. I hope to chat to her soon.
I DON'T KNOW. WE NEED TO HAVE THAT IN OUR CULTURE
I have so much respect for this woman at 22 minutes she paused and said she did not know the answer to the question, automatically i knew she is going to cook in this interview. That was a question that someone would just give an answer to without thinking.
Respect to people that know they dont know everything.
I am so happy bumping into this. I share the same. We have such a rich culture, so much to be proud of, which is evident with so much travel. The self hate is really unfortunate and the narrative needs to change from a starting point of self emancipation, family level, community and much more. ❤❤❤ And proudly Zimbabwean any day, anytime.
Everything said is very much on point, however I would like for us to explorer the generational gap/differences issues, so as to enable us to have a common understand of each other.
I've had my thoughts around Gen-Z and millennia, admittedly not so positive, however on analysing the events in an East African country and now in West Africa my views are somewhat altered. Are they the future liberators of Africa, in the broad sense? Do older generations critic them unfairly?
Amazing , this woman needs to have more content out here - I wish she was my friend at the same time also would rater have her as my coach, haha. loved this one!
22:00 the book is Outliers : Malcolm Gladwell, a recommended read for both parents and kids it shifts the mind. Our culture plays a huge role in our lack of accountability and fear of authority.

Relax and understand the season you are in!
Good conversation. We didn't choose to have the childhood we had. My analysis is around our post colonial era. I am very anti colonial. Am not a fan of these colonial schools we had. I'm 45 and experienced best of both
Great video
Time stamps would be really nice though
So true is Zimbabweans just so negative about our selves l totally agree .... Rite now we won the African Rugby cup and dololo raves about it
The best youtubers in my books are Haku Stream, Kelvin Birioti and Trevor Ncube in no particular order. Kana uchida kunzwawo nyaya dzekuti mai Titty vachata naani kana kuti Holy arikutukana naani unoendawo kwana Ola kana DenJ 🤝
Denny j has been improving lately with stellar guests like Supa, Gift, Mono, Dr Guramatunhu. I agree on Ola nothing of value there just entertainment but HAKU is doing an amazing job no lie 👏
@@hawed19 thank you for the heads up about den j. I will check out some episodes. Ndanga ndakatomuita write off
She is referring to anthropomorphic understanding of the creator
There’s numerous reasons as to why Zimbabweans lack pride and it all stems from leadership unfortunately.
1- The only history most Zims especially millennials and Gen Z know is about Mugabe and ZANU which equals negatively.
2- Achievements - Not many achievements from Zim wheather in music, sport or film etc, so there’s not much to celebrate.
3- Media platforms - TV & radio could help to push national pride but there’s a lack of investment and lack of allowing the nation to freely express themselves and their creativity.
4- More focus of Harare and the rest of the country is ignored.
Majority of Zimbabweans are from the ghettos and country sides and creating pride will start by involving them and listening to them i.e. in South Africa the foundation of their pride stems from things like Mandela pushing unity, every tribe/ province being acknowledged (Rainbow nation), various opportunities being available even for someone from a ghetto like Soweto, everyone having access to decent roads, services etc
So basically transparency,
good communication and valuing everyone in society can aid in creating pride.
