I'm certain my brother would have loved this too. In feudal Japan, a rōnin was a samurai that didn't have a lord. Having lost the right to follow a master, a ronin should abandon the code of the warrior and all of it's privileges, such as the right to end it's own life in order to regain his honor. He was then condemned to live a meaningless life wandering, alone, only surrounded by it's own shame and dishonor.
Akali KDA depends of the situation. If a samurai’s master dies there are two options. Take his own life to keep his honor or continue living as a ronin. Which most of people despise during feudal japan.
To my understanding rōnin are more comparable to mercenary's. "During these periods, as small-scale wars frequently occurred throughout Japan, the daimyō needed to augment their armies, so rōnin had opportunities to serve new masters. Having lost the right to follow a master, a ronin should abandon the code of the warrior and all of it's privileges, such as the right to end it's own life in order to regain his honor. He was then condemned to live a meaningless life wandering, alone, only surrounded by it's own shame and dishonor.

Akali KDA depends of the situation. If a samurai’s master dies there are two options. Take his own life to keep his honor or continue living as a ronin. Which most of people despise during feudal japan.
To my understanding rōnin are more comparable to mercenary's. "During these periods, as small-scale wars frequently occurred throughout Japan, the daimyō needed to augment their armies, so rōnin had opportunities to serve new masters. Also, some rōnin joined in bands, engaging in robbery and uprisings." Excerpt from wikipedia, feel free to fact check it as it's wikipedia.
