I first discovered lofi when I was 10 in the Spring of 2020. Online class had first started, and during class I remember listening to fireplace ambience, only to find some strange live video that was playing "chill hip-hop". Weird. This video was in fact Lofi Girl's famous lofi video, and I was immediately hooked. Nothing beat the chill vibes of this music. I would sit down and write essays on Japanese culture or "why we should stop blaming video games for violent behavior" while nodding off to relaxing lofi. Some of the classics songs of those days were Snowman by WYS and Kupla's very own "Roots". Listening to Roots just brings back so many memories...
I’ve been listening to Lofi Girl since the beginning. I really liked the name “Chilled Cow” and the logo of the cow with the headphone 😂 but very glad to see how far this channel has come ❤🎉
I wish I had more friends to share this with. This music is so smooth that you can enjoy an evening of conversation with this playing . You can enjoy cruising , listening to it. You can even take a nap with this playing. It's just so smooth and versatile that everyone should be enjoying this.
Being called a backstabber after helping people on their relationship is really something that you can't describe by words. Imagine being isolated by everyone right after you help your closest friends. . . . Sometimes in life, what you thought to be the right thing turns out to be the worst thing people could imagine of. It's so hard to become a good person these day. . . . I'm not telling people to become bad. Helping others is good, but how you help them and the choices you make are way more important. Maybe you have a good heart, but if you help others in the wrong way, you will, more or less, ended up like me.

Your Tracks. Wow on "Sunray" I almost didn't keep listening to that one. The more I did I realized how well made it was. Wow on "Reminisce" that is a well arranged track, and I like the Classical element brought in. "Roots" a nice piece. Working with some good things in "Kingdom in Blue" as well.
And off I went. I know, there would be no coming back. Not after today. Not after they all had seen me, seen us. I just packed all my things and left. After a while I got tired of driving. I parked by the side of the road to enjoy the view. And that’s when I saw it. The flying castle. Sprinkles of light were floating around me. “Don’t worry, It’ll be okay” they whispered. I swished them away like mosquitos “You guys stay in the car! I told you!” I stared in awe. The castle was floating on a mountain, its view starting to get swallowed by the onset of the night… but yet it was so visible. And there was a light on in the highest tower. But that wasn’t the most astounding things of all. What surprised me the most were the sprinkles of light that swirled around the tower. To the untrained eye they probably looked like stars, but they moved to fast for that. “Look at that” I called out at my glowing friends in the car “There’s more of you!” and with these words they started to swirl excitedly. Why would this castle from the legends, that no one had ever seen before, now present itself in front of my eyes? On a day like this, nonetheless. When the village discovered I was a “evil witch who will burn the village to ashes”. With lights opened at the highest tower, as if someone was living there. Someone with answers. Maybe I wasn’t the only one.

The creatures of the woods running all around me, each of them having their own tiny adventures. Fairies flying around me, guiding me to new horizons! Showing me all types of treasure. You know I find lately that Music and art truly move and change me in ways I never thought. I find myself turning to Chilled cow more often than not when I need inspiration or something to take away. This soundtrack really did that for me. I listen to this a lot when I'm preparing RPG sessions for my party and this gave me a fantastic idea for a Kids on Bikes story. I always come back to this album by Kupla, it is my favorite of his, either the fantastical theme or use of clarinet in it is what grabs me, I don't know probably both.
