This was my favorite game as a kid, I used to play it before I knew how to read. I had no clue where to go or what to do and I would start over every couple of weeks. I discovered a bunch of glitches on my own and got into dungeons and areas I shouldn't have. Watching this TAS speed run and seeing some of those glitches and recognizing the places and characters I had forgotten about is already so surreal and to top it off the effects and an amazing vaporwave playlist to along with it.... this is like a medicine I didn't know I needed. Thank you.
This mix always gives me this mental image of waking up in the past with your current memories but unable to change anything just the perception living Ina moment from earlier in time just to enjoy your own past.
It's due to this that I've discovered my favorite vaporwave track of all time. It's the first one, and apparently the name directly translates to "True Love". As someone who is generally neglected and had pretty much been alone until I was 17 (now 21 currently), it hits hard and makes me feel whole even more than I already did. That and it's just a beautiful song, during which I imagine walking through, interestingly enough, a tropical forest area and relaxing the entire time, and I even think it transitions here into the second song onward very well! This video has gotten me through quite a few difficult days and nights--I'd bet probably around 450 of the views on this (again, currently) are just me coming back. Thank you for all this!

This was my first Zelda game and I always dreamed of getting washed up on an island and going on an epic adventure like the one Link traversed. I especially like the third song.
