I like to imagine she's one of the few Touhous to actually mature, so she's a lot calmer than she was in the PC-98 days. But if you mess with her sunflowers, you will learn all too well why she is still one of the most feared youkai in Gensokyo...
There’s such a dark, mysterious vibe to all of the songs. This, the obscurity of Seihou, and my lack of knowledge of it, add to it feeling lost and enraptured in a planet with an eternal night. When I make a franchise myself, that’s what I want part of it to feel like.
@Bananina can u give anything other than speculation as to how much of the first 5 touhou games amusement makers members other than ZUN contributed to?
@Bananina i'm gonna have to disagree with you on the music. I find seihou to be substantially different from pc-98 touhou, and much closer to eosd/dipp, if only for reasons of instrumentation and arrangement.
I just imagine it would be the absolute weirdest experience to play these games in order and then be told by a super fan-friend that..."yeah, see these crossover-cameos of Reimu, Marisa and Yuuka? Prepare to never see those versions of the characters again. They are just gone and replaced when you come back to TH for 6 and beyond."

aight imma be honest i dont even fucking know what seihou is entirely like is it some abandoned early side project by zun? or is it something zun worked on before touhou but quit to do his own shit? or what
@@anonymousanonymous8216 To answer your question, Seihou is game made by Shunsatsu sare do? as a sort of counterpart to Touhou. Since the creators used to be part of a Japanese college group called Amusement Makers (which ZUN was a part of when he made the PC-98 games), ZUN contributed a few songs to the first two Seihou games, with Reimu and Marisa appearing as Extra Stage bosses in the former, and Yuuka as an unlockable player character in the latter. @@anonymousanonymous8216 Yeah, you're pretty close with that second guess. I'll admit that 'counterpart' was a bit vague on my end, it's more like a 'same universe, different setting' kinda thing. Basically for a lack of a better description, Seihou is to Touhou what American Dad is to Family Guy.
