After 10 years of marriage I finally put my foot down and said we will have a spirit-filled marriage our marriage will resemble the fruits of the spirit or this marriage is not going to last. My husband moved into the guest bedroom after that conversation a week later he went away on a road trip for 3 weeks. While he was gone I told him that I do not want to live is your roommate if we can't have the fruits of the spirit in the marriage the marriage is over. He moved the rest of his belongings out I don't know where he is he is now hired an attorney. He never allowed me to work during the ten years of our marriage. I am asking the Lord for the ability to keep my house. I got a job I start next Monday. Please pray for me that I continue to follow the holy spirit's leading and guiding through this. Please pray that the attorney assigned to me we'll fight like Elijah against the spirit of Jezebel. please pray that the judge will show me favor in that God's power is manifest and all glory goes to him.

Sweet sister, the same thing happened to me my husband of almost 30 years turn on me soon as I put Christ first. I had no income, I work very hard taking care of my family. Long store short the Lord restored everything i gave up. I held on to my faith and He did take of me. I pray He does the same thing for you.

Fantastic job on this subject/service! I'm not sure, but I think many only think of Jezebel as a sexually 'loose' woman, but it's actually a spirit that's controlling and dividing (as in churches), whose goal is getting others to worship other gods. Late Derek Prince teaching goes deep into Jezze&Ahab. Man can have Jezebel spirit and the woman can have Ahab spirit. Seen that and experienced it. JEZEBEL is an IT spirit, not a she or he. I only trust is my Abbah's govt. I'm a lwoman, a daughter/ex-wife/sister/mother/grandmother...plagued with generational Jesse & Ahab's but as the Lord began to reveal these wicked spirit in my family in the early 90's opening my eyes I began taking my stand against these VILE spirits.i almost got murdered and went through Elijah experience several times before learning to stand up and really fight back. "AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE WE WILL SERVE THE LORD" and am not allowing Jezze/Arab in my family going forward. Elijah is like Melchizadek, these two are a mystery because they are/were special beings

What bible calls Jezebel spirit psychology calls Narcissistic behavior. Great preaching. Jezebels can be covert as well. You can see that in Asian culture. It is deeply embedded and accepted. Mother-in-laws are the one who manifest this spirit. They become possessive of their sons. See a lot in my gamily circles 😢

Who is the Jezzebel around him? His mom, sister, dad, brother, or WIFE? Arab cannot operate without Jesse. Perhaps look in the mirror then who is and learn first what this vile wicked spirit is capable of. Get help from experienced deliverance ministers, lookup Isaiah Saldivar ministeries

Continue to pray.
Begin with giving your husband responsibility again where he is in charge of areas where he is sole decision maker and has to carry the weight of responsibility.
Support his growth and awkwardness, and slowly give up control that you had to take on based on his passivity and whatever you bring to the table.
Continue to pray and invite your husband to lead without any shaming or judgmentalism.
Set him up for success to lead with affirmations and talking out how he can find better role models and men who lead assertively.
Continue to hand him back responsibility and work through the mess of his fear, passivity and laziness.
Create space where he has to step in.
Continue to pray and act and submit your will to God and submit your body, submit your time and submit your own leadership to your husband as he changes and grows...slowly but gets on track.
It is a journey but worth it.
This is what I do with my wife who was raised to take power and run our marriage from her mother who had no respect for men...I slowly took power and authority back from my wife and slowly taught her that Biblical marriage is led by husbands.
Does that mean I don't listen or even obey my wife sometimes, no, I believe that I must listen and obey when she is right.
But, she must obey me at all times and I must strive to be correct at all times in my leadership of our home.
How do I hear God call me son?

The whole council of God is relevant.
You're being myopic. In order to be victorious there has to be an obstacle, challenge, or battle.
God is victorious, and we can share in that when we submit to Him and do His will, but God is victorious over what? We can be victorious over what?
Be cautious with naïvety. You'll find in the Bible failures and failures of men. The only victories are out of submission to God and His mercy and Grace. Any time we act outside of that we are vulnerable. Christians who aren't in submission can do evil, and they're not victorious until they're back in submission.

You are correct, evil spirits cannot repent. Jesus was making a reference to the actual woman, Jezebel, not the spirit named Jezebel.

Ahab is a covery narcissist and Jezebel is a malignant narcissist.
I think Mark Driscoll demonstrates the stark difference between real intellectualism and propped up knowledge. A 21st century person, trying to command some sort of significant influence by telling their listeners there is an actual devil, an evil being who hold personhood commanding other demonic minions in an unseen spiritual world... is NOT an intellect. This is an ideologue - carried by the anti-intellectual beliefs of the "choir" who is already aligned. This is a pastor "filled" with a mere abundance of knowledge for his "slice" of the pie, and not someone with the MIND OF CHRIST.
This is inaccurate.
Driscoll is still in need of accountability for past actions and decisions, but your comments here about his intellect and whether he is an intellectual are frivolous and have zero basis otherwise.
Since you probably didn't even listen to this sermon, it is hard to tell what your motive is beyond mudslinging.
Driscoll is as polemic as you would see in American Evangelicalism and since he has already been "canceled" there isn't much interest to keep shooting at him by Christian wokesters and Christian progressives so what is your agenda here?

She was translated out so that we could have a patriarchal .monotheistic society based on only a man being our God. The current God and all of our holidays have pagan roots. Before Christ was born, that is where we all came from. At Yale and Emery, they teach the archeological evidence that she was an equal goddess. Married to the God named EL, who was elevated to become the most high God Elohim...later named Yeshua. Some sects of the LDS church believe she is the historical and current wife of God.

Of course, the spirit of Jezebel and Ahab are in force, but there is a spirit of Elijah that is there to counteract that.
