OMG I am literally shaking with laughter & have only listened to the first twenty minutes. The Paul Lynde stuff is a riot. What a loss that Gottfried is gone. One of a kind. THANK YOU for saving & posting these treasures.
dude i’ve never burst out laughing at work before but yeah this whole paul lynde/liberachi anti-semite big colored chambermaid shit had me crying. when gilbert said “those real aunt jemima lookin ones” i think i had a heart attack
listen to the gilbert gottfried w/artie lang colossal podcast. Gilbert doing paul lynde as babe ruth had me in tears I was laughing so hard. my coworkers thought I was losing my mind.
A few years ago I heard Gilbert on The Artie Quitter Podcast and they riffed on making a movie with an all-black cast named "Shit on a Plane". Oh my... I started laughing so hard at my desk at work that I started crying and had to get up and laugh it out in the bathroom. Then like an idiot I came back and restarted the podcast and did the same exact thing again. My coworkers had no idea what was going on.
There will never be a comic close to Gilbert, the world is always moving and this style of comedy is no longer appreciated. His amazing impressions, self-depreciation, obscure tv references and outlandish personality on air will always fill a spot in my heart. Sometimes I'll be doing something and his voice just pops into my mind going OH MY GOODNESSS, and I just can't help but to laugh. That's what real talent is. Thanks for gathering his clips so we can enjoy them!
@@rodneyalaking8241 i love your screen name... NEVER TOO SOON! / i assume the part where two jews are mocking a dead, gay, drunk antisemite...? anti-hate speech if you ask me...
one thing i find so endearing about GG is his apparent lack of ego, he is completely unphased by any criticism. he is secure enough about his talent that what others say seem to bounce right off him lol.
I have tears streaming down my face listening to Gilbert do Liberace. Every line pushes things further and further into the absurd. Gilbert was truly one of a kind.
Maybe one of my favorite Gilbert appearances. It has everything: Paul Lynde stories, Dracula Gottfried, the Kingfish. But it is a bit obvious Howard was trying to work in his prepared bit about Steven Spielberg's black son. He brings it up twice and when no one bites he 'suddenly' gets a call from a guy who asks for Spielberg's son to talk to Dracula. How convenient.
As I read through the comments, it put a smile on my face to know that it was virtually unanimous regarding peoples fondness and appreciation for Gilbert. I miss him dearly. As I’ve said, before, rather than wish him to rest in peace, I can only imagine that he’s up in heaven, making the angels piss in their pants :-). I thank him for all the many years of entertainment that he provided us while he was with us. I was shocked the day I learned that he had left the planet. Peace.
R.I.P. Gilbert Gottfried. Easily one of the greatest guests to appear on the show throughout the years. Always funny, and never politically correct. Great stuff.👍
What a comedian! The last of the greatest generation of comedians. And the sweetest-hearted man at home. I will never forget his impression of buddy Hacket and Lynde and Seinfeld and Mason and so many others

Dracula Gottfried vs Steven Spielberg (And His Black Son)...."Feed your little n*gro baby to that shark in Jaws, even he won't eat that n*gro baby"......"The only spooks I want, are in my castle".Gilbert's impressions were beyond hilarious. Even Howard had some great lines as Spielberg's son...."Daddy, I'm confused". Fantastic appearance.😆😂😆
I can’t wrap my head around Gilbert passing on. Was counting on him being around. Anyway, going to be a “find” like the 3 Stooges/Marx Bros/Little Rascals for kids looking for rebellion against the “adults”
Liberace made all kinds of excuses as to why he never got married, the ones they mentioned in the video here, and in his documentary that came out in '72 he said he didn't want to get married because "a lot of people in his family had gotten divorced" so he figured it would never work out if he got married. The real reason he made all of the excuses, and never came out was because of the lawsuit he won in the 50s against an English gossip rag. If he had come out later, he would have probably had to pay all that money back. Nevertheless I think Liberace was an entertaining character regardless his sexual preferences.

😂😂😂😂😂 Paul Lynde was probably definitely the inspiration for the voice of Roger the Alien from American Dad 😂

Completely absurd. These comedians all mock and ridicule hateful people. That's the whole schtick

can't stop listening to this one of my favs
This is an incredible episode.
Absolutely hysterical . His impression of Bella Ligosi is the funniest thing I have ever heard. Thanks for the upload.
Some of the best Gilbert appearances were, I think, from 1997-2001. This particular episode is possibly one of the greatest in stern history.
As I read through the comments, it put a smile on my face to know that it was virtually unanimous regarding peoples fondness and appreciation for Gilbert. I miss him dearly.
