The Shooter the spotter the consistency with each shot to a target of that dimension at 4km think it makes you two the best shooters on RUclips. Not to mention the simplicity of how you work incredible !! ... Great job!
Thank you for all that, we enjoy our shooting and yes the team work is key for what we do, without a great spotter I would not accomplish half of what we have. Cheers and all the best.
Two minutes in and I felt a need to stop and thank you. I've had my fill of "slick" shooting vids with drawn out artsy-fartsy intros, amphetamine fueled music tracks and slash/cut rapid fire editing. Half the time I expect a teenager to pop up and try to sell me an energy drink. Shooting vids for adults are getting hard to find. Thanks for not feeding me candy-coated glam.
World record kill shot was 3,540 meters 3,871 yards so it’s 370 meters further and that was accomplished with the aid of a Taccom HQ Prism now that I think of it a 4,010 meter shot is impossible without a prism unless you’re shooting uphill or from a lower position cuz he wouldn’t be able to see the target in the scope the target would be out of the scope picture cuz he’d be aiming at the sky even with the elevation maxed out
Truly an epic shot and your grouping at that range is unbelievable! Been waiting quite some time for this hit, it doesn't disappoint! Would love to see a video of your reloading set up someday unless it's proprietary. Thanks for sharing your success with us!
Dave L I also would like to see an in-depth series on his reloading process. Getting that kind of consistency as those ranges, he clearly has it put together properly. ES / SD has to be the priority.
Thanks Dave, very happy to get out the 4km, as for reloading, nothing too special, just super consistent on everything, more involved in making rifle shoot and keeping perfect or at least completely consistent form for every shot, not all that easy given the thump that is going on, Cheers and all the best.
MarkandSam AfterWork...don't know how I missed it, but truly appreciate U sending the link. HOLY SHIT!!AWESOME SHOT/HIT/SPOTTING...NEVER CEASE TO AMAZE!! CONGRATULATIONS ON 🎯....is this a world record? Hilltop had a vid that couldn't of been any if much farther.
I love the difference in angle between the scope and the barrel, its a massive change to account for the difference between the bullet arc and the line of sight. Amazing shots.
Mark and Sam. Just wanted to say I appreciate the truly hard work you put into your shooting efforts. Most do not grasp the amount of equipment and work it takes to set up and record the few minutes of video posted. Again, thank you.
It's amazing that some guns are precise enough to hit things at these distances. It's incredible how much physics go in these calculations and that theyre so accurate.
Congratulations to you both for excellent teamwork getting this 4000 meter shot done! I knew it was just a matter of time for you guys to get a hit at this distance. Great shooting!👍🏻
CONGRATULATIONS!!! I have been watching your videos and waiting for this day!! Well done to both of you :) Totally admire the dedication you guys put in to the sport. So whats next... a nice break is well deserved :)
Good spotting by Sam :) I like her enthusiasm around the 7:30 time. you can tell she's as invested in this shot as you are. great shooting Mark, and cool vid!
So very impressive --Great shooting and even better spotting --- I'm so grateful you posted all this and all that you do. Looking forward to the next challenge or comments you post. Rob.
I really look forward to each and every video you 2 release. AWESOME shooting with hardware to drool over. Keep up the great work! And keep those videos coming.
I find it unbelievable that you guys were able to hit that target, about 4 km away, while compensating for wind, bullet drop, and other stuff. It absolutely blows my mind.
Found your 4km video.. 👍🏻. Looks like I would need more then the average rifle to even get close to this distance.. Awesome job on hitting that plate too.. ❤️👍🏻👍🏻
i love how over here in america people are all proud and think they are gods when they hit a plate that far but it takes them 2 days worth of shooting and you do it in 3 or 4 shots lol love it . your a damn good shot man !!
Mark and Sam that is without a doubt the best shot I have ever seen yer attention to detail is super. I have to admit I missed this video tho with work lately for all the rubbish that's on youtube your channell is tops keep up the good work
Wow. Congratulations to you both on an awesome shot. I need to borrow your spotter to teach some people how to spot. Sam has to make your job behind the trigger much better.
Thanks Man, yes I hear you, would make a very different shot to have such a large target, we would have nailed it last year while just working the shot out, but that is just not how we roll, Cheers and all the best.
Six second travel. It's nice to have wide open terrain like that. I enjoyed the Navajo Reservation for a while doing that, it's a satisfaction hitting your target with precision accuracy.
MarkandSam AfterWork you shooting today??. I don't know if you've done it already, but you should do a tour of your workshop. Where you do all your powders and machining. Cheers
Hers a couple of videos to help with that, workshop, ruclips.net/video/hXo76xFtneo/видео.html loading ammo room, ruclips.net/video/5YOnZkaiBKs/видео.html, Cheers
Awesome, Nice one! Looking forward to your next videos, I am especially interested in seeing the 7RM and 300WM pushed far out. Maybe a comparison between the two, I see you get a lot of 7mm vs 300 questions.
Sweet shooting mate! I enjoyed watching that. That was like +/-10.5 sec bullet flight time........awesome!! And the bullet still dinged that plate pretty good too. What you have available to you there is unbelievably, beautiful countryside, we should all be so lucky. I swear though, I felt like those flies were right here in my living room with me. The area looks a lot like Central California to my eye.......looks very much like South Africa too. Very nice! Only way the average person over here can get to shoot long like that is to go way into the Mojave desert. Talk about hot in summer though, and no shade trees. And just maybe no nice access road to get to the target position at give or take 2.5 - 2.7 miles from the ffp.
A 4000m shot!!!! That is dam impressive. It blows my mind. You should have been a professional sniper. I have seen many other videos of people struggling to hit a target that it 2000m away with the same rifle.

Congratulations, Im in awe man...gr8 shooting...Now come on, next task is to smash the French record with your .375 CT Improved, just a smidgen further Mark...
Thanks Brendan, happy with this, 4km with just the 2 of us and a 24" target, seems all the world record shots are done with lots more people and huge targets, not quite what we do, Cheers.
@@markandsamafterwork Funny........Been a while since I've caught your videos. Just realized I've already viewed this one. You sound like a grumpy douche who suffers from cultural lag.
CrucifyRobinHood I agree I want to watch a shooting video not a rock concert. That makes me just go on to another video when the corny music starts.
True as life: I guess im not the only one ...
I Agree!
Out of all of the extreme range shooting I've seen yours is by far the most impressive due to the size of your targets.
Thanks Wombat, Cheers
150m shorter than the world record but with an 8x smaller target! congratulations to you two!
Thanks Chris, we are very happy getting to the 4km with the 2 of us and a normal size target, cheers and all the best.
