For the Saas Fee camp, how about this for a challenge? Whoever gets the quickest run on that day gets to take a piece of cutlery away from one of the team members' evening meals. For example, if Billy wins, he could say Laurie doesn't get a fork with his pasta tonight. 😅
1:23 I've never seen shells that tight before... how do you have space for the liners xD and how long can you last wearing them. Tech room insight is always the highlight of the vlog for me.
It is definitely a challenge 😂 but my feet are used to it. I’ve done some pretty big days in these boots! I’ll keep some more ski room insights coming 👍🏻
I don't know how much you're familiar with racing boots, but the liners are quite thinner than commercial boots. Most FIS, EC and WC athletes tend to get the smallest boot possible that fits and then work around the pressure points. My boots for instance are a 25-25,5 shell, while wearing a 43(.0,5) shoe. Among some individual pressure points, I've made the front part of the shell 2-3mm longer so that my toes fit exactly instead of buying one size up.
@@jimbodiamantis1025I'm very much aware of the lengths we go too :). I have some rather nice 26.5 head boots in 140 with all the bells and whistles. I wear 41 normal shoes and my boots quite the squeeze with injected liners. But it is incredibly rare to see boots that are this tight on camera... which still fit properly.
That is a very good question 🙌🏻 I ski 87 side edge and 0.3 base. I have been to 85 before but now I keep at 87 and alter the way the edges are prepped and finished to match the conditions

What about a demi on intermediate and full run ? So two beers to play for...

Lots of local cowboys in Jondal that won't walk past an unattended valuable :)
Tuning question. What base edge and side edge angle do you ski on? Do you change it depending on snow condition and season?
