If only the amount of exploits were the size of the Bible... I’d be fine with the exploits, unfortunately this game is full of game-breaking bugs. Love the game, but sometimes it just pisses me off. I can’t even count how many times I had to load an old save because a quest was glitched, and lost some good progress as a result.
there is an easier way. albeit it will cost 1/10th of a gold every time you get 1-4% in your speech. Simply gather a number of nettles (or any other herb that vendors only sell for .1 gold) and then vendor them. Now, buy those same herbs back 1 at a time, making sure to haggle and then offering them .1 gold more. It is quite a bit faster than what you're doing here and very easy. In fact, you could level up speech a number of times in the first town doing this. It's boring and tedious, but if you want speech up and you want it up now...well, there you go :)

Although this may be patched BUT there is another option although not sure about the other systems anyway when you get Matthew and Fritz to the inn on the glade and they are preparing for the quarry raid, you can ask Matthew about Andrew and why he isn't gonna help out (I do believe you should have a higher speech check then Matthew, number for Matthew is 12 on speech skill) and you can ask him the speech check dialogue about it and you can rinse and repeat, gives 4 exp to speech each time although not sure if it's based on the success the first time around or failure but once you get it the first time, you can continue to repeat it over and over and you'll get 4 exp each time. Edit: As a side note I have just discovered this plus it would be worth to check out the other systems and see what causes it to happen but yeah, this is viable also my console is ps4 for those of you interested

Chronos Chris I didn’t get far into the main story, I just only completed the one where you find Ginger. From there I decided to start exploring side quests. It should have been the opening dialogue, I believe. Is there dialogue to ask who he is or what he does?
Nope no other dialogue.. I'm gonna guess it had something to do with the main quest you're on.. I haven't found this ginger yet. I think it's this because I recently figured out that I couldn't speak to a certain Villager NPC to get a certain quest off him until after I completed the Awakening main story quest. It possiblely might be the same thing here.

Barry Worthington because you spent money for YOUR game... Its not a multiplayer game. Its a single player game. The owner of said game has the option to play it how they want. Cheating in Monopoly... Not cool. Cheating in Solitare... Who the fuck cares. Lol
Simple. Because we need it. I have 4 combo-s unlocked at sword category and I can not use any of them because it requires me, the player to be skillfull, and get the timing right. I suck at it, so the game is not fun for me. I would need: money cheat, easy archery cheat (so the damn thing won't move that much) and insta-combo-trigger button (like above slash, right slash, down+left slash to be mapped to a single click). I can not beat even the simplest bandit, only after 20-30 reloads. Or at least ultra slow motion combat, so I have time to react
I have none of these problems, just pick your fights smart, not fighting 4 enemys at once and go hunting to improve archery. This game is supposed to be hard and I like it this way. No brainless hack and slay.
Than give the enemy more attack variants or something. I know 4 combos, I can not use any of it. That is artificially making the game hard. My character has skill, I as a person do not. So, my character can not use his skills because I can not input different slashes
MQ permanantly broken and unpatched on PS4 here with no workaround, crashes constantly after 1hour + game time whilst simply accessing menus/ fast travelling. Bogs down during certain weather/animation effects. Controller freezes momentarily after changing back to fp. Save system glitched...All core issues not just bugs. Mass Effect A worse only because it was released by an established house.
It only gives you 4 percent of experience you’d have to have this conversation with him 502 times to get to level 20 I don’t think that’s an exploit

kallonist i believe you have to kill a certain bandit leader in the story before you can get this quest

Speech skill is quite pain the ass to increase the others skill can trained in combat
