- Dennis van der Geest is a Dutch judoka, who competed in +100 kg and Open weight categories. He is one of the most accomplished Dutch judokas of all time. He is 1-time World gold and silver medalist and 3-time bronze medalist he is also 2004 Olympic bronze medalist. Dennis van der Geest was versatile stand up competitor famous for his powerful Ashi Guruma/O Guruma, O Soto Gari/Otoshi, O Uchi Gari and Seoi Otoshi. Outside of Judo he works as a DJ and commentator on IJF World Tour.

Как я люблю смотреть такое дзюдо 90 х - 00-х . Аж душа радуется. А сейчас - захват сорвал -шидо получил, ножку прихватил - шидо получил. Скоро будет так -захват взял - шидо получил. Динамика возраста, хотя её можно было увеличить и без таких крайних мер.
I'd say the first European +100 in history to be such a complete athlete. 200cm athlete that performs ura nage and drop seoi, along with ashi waza repertoire.

He's a man with a luck.
He defeated Tmenov, one of his least favorite players, by Ippon in the finals of the big stage, the World Championships.
I believe he had also defeated Douillet by Ippon at the European Championships.
