I had a 73 with 440 magnum and 3 speed torque flight. Slow off the line but keeps on going past the way fast speed. Until it's about ready to liftoff floating down the road. Just got to make sure you got say a carb that can handle all that gas and air. Mine had problems until the big 4 barrels opened up. Good shape. Bubble Hood. Blue and white, black bubble, Hood pins, white SE brogham top. Heavy car, could have been a tank. Next time I go Mopar I go 383 short block. More gidyup off the line.
Remember you'll all get crushed if you brake too hard or crash into something. Probably smart to change the seats and belts, plus install airbags if it doesn't have any
Sorry man, about your Grandpa. Drunk drivers like the one that hit your G-Pa are often so drunk the just flop around in the car being rag dolled, not tensed up, and still alive, often walk away. Drunk drivers are just an unstoppable menace. Tragic.

My grandfather had one of these he died in it during a car crash when a drunk driver hit him
