Since my journey with PLG I have found there are lots of handmade leather bags !are in the USA. I will see about checking more and give you a list. I was surprised that there was quite A number. Over 60 years ago where I lived in Pittsburgh you could find all kinds of leather shops. I still have a bag from one that was made there. It was called a banjo bag because it is in the shape of a banjo. I have pieces from my mother, my aunt and my grandmother that are still good.
I agree about Longchamp & Coach. I think contemporary Coach is a great value for money at any price point. I bought a few vintage Coach bags a couple of years ago and plan to freshen them up and use them. I will say buying the vintage bags from Coach’s site are ridiculously expensive.
I bought the Lana 23. I didn't think I would love it but I was surprised. It is all leather inside and out. It holds more than it looks. I love it. I think it is reasonably priced. I would love to get a vintage Coach bag.
A brilliant selection. I cannot decide which of my bags is the best buy. They mostly have been in various ways! If i am pressed, maybe on of my Leather Satchel Company (Liverpool) bags. They are all special to me and even the ones I paid full price for seem like bargains! The other is my XNihilo Bank Bag. I forget what I paid for it, but it was well under standard price. Madewell is a good option for a lightweight all leather bag. Although not as good quality as some heavier lined bags like Coach there are amazing sales, nice colors and minimalist styles. Herve Chapelier are my go to nylon bags.
I've bought a couple of Portland Leather items, thanks to your channel and the leather is great! Don't forget that Coach has a lot of sales and I've bought a few new Coach bags for well under $300.00.
Hi Autumn, I had never seen the Naghedi bags until you mentioned them in a previous video. You had a link to Sak’s and I was so surprised because I walk by the store on 5th Ave every morning, except before they open. I’m seeing more and more of the bags on the street and am so tempted to ask the owners if they follow your channel! I’m really tempted to give them a try but the lg collection of Longchamp bags you tempted me into are telling me to save my pennies for a while. Will stick with my budget until I have cash in hand! Thanks for giving me a fun goal!
I have a large lux collection. But hands down my vintage coach bags are amazing. I love a project bag so I still get them for a good price and love cleaning them up myself.
My best bag bargain isn't a recent bag, but it's a Dooney that was in brand new condition that I got for $49 at a thrift store. I'm sure they probably heard me squeal all over the store LOL. The crazy part is I had looked at this same bag in a different color at Nordstroms about 2 years before and just couldn't bring myself to spend the money on it (I think it was around $300 then) as money was a bit tight. Patience paid off in this case. I still love it.
I, like you, thought long and hard about a LongChamp nylon tote, and wish I’d purchased long I did. I can’t get away from this bag, I try to switch out, yet it’s so versatile and easy to carry, I keep going back to it.

I LOVE Longchamp but now everybody and their children have them. I mean children under 14, as I saw yesterday. Since I live in Europe I do not want to pay customs and extra tax on handbags to order from America. I would love to buy one of Guyana totes though.
It's not a bag for me. I'm generally not a fan of the dowel bags or the ones that (to me) look like briefcases. I know a lot of people love the Willis, though.

I got a $1200 Mark Cross large tote bag for $150. The quality is outstanding and it’s practically new.
My Tory Burch soft Fleming convertible bag in Navy blue. I’m madly in love with it! I found it for $135, cleaned and conditioned it, it’s beautiful!
