    I realized I was using my personal account, in responding. Your sharing & caring of everything is such a beautiful thing! You’ve got a great outlook and your very humble- positivity is key and onward and upward! You’re doing amazing! We started 2-3 months ahead of you and can relate to everything you share!

    Thank you for your transparency and vulnerability in telling us that the vision we may have as an aspiring pack & ship store owner isn’t all what’s it’s cracked up to be in the beginning with regards to revenue expectations. Appreciate you!

    Hi Winston, what about offering to pick up mail/packages for real estate offices, title companies and law offices, as that service could lead to a great deal of income and also give awareness for your store and what all services you provide? Wishing you all of the best, you're a good dude, working hard and you want to be successful! You're a very humble guy. Thank you and happy belated birthday! Thanks, Brian I saw this on another interview for a pack and ship store and one thing the owner said he tries to do differently from everyone is he always keeps candy in bowls out for customers, it sounds funny, but if you're a customer and you can go to the post office, where you get nothing or go to your store and you might get some candy, it may help bring new faces into your store! Just a suggestion.

      Thank you!! Yes I watched that interview as well, I have lollipops for the customer, maybe I should add more like chocolates etc. I did wrote couple letters to local law offices and real estate office, will continue to do that. there are way too many of them lol. Appreciate you!🙏

    Hi there, we are going to add mailbox rental service to our current business(a game and comic store). I wonder what kind of insurance we have to cover for the new service. Thank you for sharing.

      @amnouyandryanjohnson7291 for my store I bought 1M retail business insurance, which was required by my landlord.

    Definitely charge the $1.50 for opening emails, texts and flash drives. That's what I do and have never had any issues. Many times it takes time to deal with customers. This the only way to make any money on small orders.

    • @SpeedyPackNGo
      @SpeedyPackNGo  2 месяца назад +1

      yes, small orders sometime are very time consuming, 10-20 mins later I made $2...

    Did you have to be open for 3 months before you applied for package hub?

      @user-ep7xc8ry4f if you take rs academy training, get 4 certificate then you don't have to wait. I would enroll it and take the training as soon you have your store setup.

    I don't lock my door except if I am going to be out of sight of the store for more than 5 minutes which has only happened 1 X in the last 10 months. We have security signs and cameras recording 24/7 onto a DVR. I have a door chime that I can hear in the bathroom so I know when someone enters the store. I have had a regular and consistent UPS driver for the last 10 months so he knows I am always here. Hopefully you have security cameras set up in your store, I highly recommend.

      I have a motion bell in my bathroom as well, thing is my store is on a lousy street, too many people walked by, I have cameras recording 24/7 as well. Maybe I'll make a sign when I go to the restroom LOL. or add another door bell for the drivers.

      @@SpeedyPackNGo I put a sign on my counter letting people know I heard them come in and will be out to help them in less than 2 minutes. You could put a sign on your locked door saying, "taking a quick break, will be back in less than 3 minutes."
      I have a laminated sign I keep under my counter and I keep reusing it. I have to put the sign on my counter when I go get my mail because my USPS box is across the parking lot.

    What kind of point of sale do you use, can you cover all the technical aspects like you did your printers?

      I use postalmate, if I cover everything on POS would take hours lol. Here's where I watch all the trainings from www.youtube.com/@PostalMateTraining

    Tons of different posters on stores makes me confused. Keep it simple. Much better to just do one list with available services in same font and format.
