  • This recorded webinar was designed as an introductory class for those who deal with two-wire loop powered meters and other devices, but are not electrical engineers.
A loop-powered device is simply a process control instrument, such as a digital display, that takes advantage of the principle to power itself off of the 4-20 mA loop, without affecting the current levels in that loop. Loop-powered instruments by nature need to consume very little power in order to be able to operate with the finite power supplied to the loop. Consequently this fact defines the features found in loop-powered devices and their applications.
    KEY TAKEAWAYS
After watching this recorded webinar you will:
understand the key criteria for using or specifying a loop-powered device,
know if a loop-powered device is qualified for your application
be able to decide if loop-power is your best choice

Which kind of problems we are going to face when we connect a 230 VAC LED device in to the output of a loop powered device?
And what will be the solution for it?
