This song has got me through some of the hardest times of my life. 7 years ago I lost my grandma who was also my second mum and my best friend. I was also working 60-70 hours a week doing a job I hated and was at breaking point. Waking up everyday and just wanting to die was the worst feeling in the world and wouldn’t wish it on anybody. The turning point was when I was stood on a motorway bridge and just wanted to end it all. It was a cry for help and was stood on that bridge for 45 minutes freezing cold and not one person stopped to ask if I was okay? Thankfully a police officer turned up and managed to talk me down and then took me to hospital to get the help that I desperately needed. I honestly never thought that I would get my life back or survive this horrible mental disease but I did it. Fast forward to 2022 and I’m now in a much better place and flew out to New York to marry my soulmate back in Sept and landed a dream job and now debt free. Yes I still have my dark days and have accepted that I will more than likely be on medication for the rest of my life but if one pill a day keeps me alive then so be it. I now help and support other people who are struggling with mental health and I use my story as inspiration that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that you can get better and turn your life around. It’s a long hard battle but please do not fight it alone. Speak to your loved ones. Get the help that you need and take it just one day at a time. You’ve got this ❤ 🙏🏻
i've noticed how all of scott stapps solo songs have a meaning to them, it's like he wanted to create his own songs where he truely expresses his feelings to the world, his sings with so much soul which is what very few singers of today do... he doesn't do it for money fame, he does it because this is something he loves to do.

Scott Stapp is by far the best singer and songwriter I have ever seen. When he is solo, he sounds alot like he did back in 97-2004 with Creed. I'm so glad they reunited in 2009. Alter Bridge just couldn't do it for me. But I still love Alter Bridge. They just don't have near the meaning in their songs that Creed does. Stapp vs Kennedy in songwriting? Scott. All the way.

So much is going on in my life I lost my oldest daughter 15yrs old was to a drunk driver, lost my husband heart attack in 06, my Mama died in 2015, my Son was murdered by his girlfriend & turns out he was her 2nd victim, and now my oldest adult daughter had brain surgery last week & they found a tumor that could be cancer waiting on results she's already been through hell in her life Idk what's going on I've never been so afraid in my life. I'm only 17yrs older than her my youngest daughter is helping her right now the hospital is a few mins away from her place. I'm Praying I wanna take off running but I can't. Tell me how to understand why this keeps happening to my family what I have left. This song is Awesome but Yes I Know. Scott Stapp/Creed are Amazing. I'm trying my best not to give up I've got to be strong for her in every way I can & I Pray to God in Heaven that He makes her a mirical I can't even see this.
