The effective rating is called ANSI Lumens which is what you will essentially see in brightness. For every 100 Lumens, the effective rating is only 10 ANSI Lumens. So as an example, the VIVIBRIGHT GP100 projector advertise its capable of 3200 Lumens. Which translates into 320 ANSI Lumens. Keep this in mind when shopping for cheap Chinese projectors the advertisement can be deceiving.

After looking into it I found that most of those were junk. Then I started to look into eBay and bestbuy, etc and quickly I was in the $300 + range ( way outta my budget). You’ve given me lots of food for thought. The only constructive criticism I would give is to overlay the names and prices of the product as you open them. It would help a lot in trying to find them. The biggest question I have that's been holding me up from purchasing a projector is if I can connect a bluetooth soundbar to it. I would think I can considering it's running android 6.01 but I'm really hoping I can get some feedback to confirm that it will connect a soundbar via bluetooth. Can you address that? Thanks!

I have cable and an Apple TV but I’m okay with not using the Apple TV if I can download apps into the projector. Teddy Kozub With the H8 you get a quieter fan and crisper brighter image so if your budget permits the H8 is definitely better but both are great contenders
