I ended up falling in love VERY IN LOVE with a very special beautiful girl, she will accept a husband from Venezuela who loves her forever melomaniac just like her
I had the pleasure of working security at his very last concert in 2016 at the Forum in Los Angeles. He seemed very happy and put on a great show in front of his adoring fans. At the end of his encore, I helped him walk down the semi-dark stairs at the rear of the stage. He thanked me for the help, and I told him that he put on a great show...2 days later he died of a heart attack....RIP Juan Gabriel
I remember seeing an ad for that concert at a bus stop i walked by here in SoCal. I remember saying I'd try to catch his next one and I hate that I never got to see him live.
The guy kills it, the audience is enthralled and the cherry on top; he jumps the rope with the microphone cable. This guy is at a total different level 🎚️
Fun fact, this concert was held in Palacio de bellas artes which is the biggest and most prestigious venue for cultural and classical music performances in Mexico. Juan Gabriel was the first popular artist to perform there and opened those doors for everyone else.
It was a popular saying back in the day that "Juan Gabriel is not for Bellas Artes"; after such performance people started saying that same thing but adding "Bellas Artes is for Juan Gabriel"
no eres la única persona , y eso que no es de mi gusto musical hasta que me puse a escuchar con claridad la letra y buahh...... mi inundan los recuerdos
Excelente pronunciación del español. You are very cool. I enjoyed your reaction and voice analysis. Juan Gabriel is one of our biggest prides in México. We love him so much. Righ now he is singing in heaven to God, but he still lives in the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for this video, I can see all the hard edition work that you had investmented. 😊
Thank you for showcasing a Mexican artist, he sadly has left us but thanks to you and your beautiful reaction to this awesome song live on for new generations to enjoy!!!
I never knew of sadness, or of tears that would make me cry. I knew of caresses and tenderness because as a small child, this is what my mother taught me. This and many more things. I never suffered, I never cried. I was very happy, I lived very well. I lived something special, something beautiful, something divine I want to live happiness. I knew of happiness, the beautify of life but nothing about solitude.
The singing is excellent, technically right on the money while delivering real emotion. The Mariachi band is really good, not La Cucaracha style for American tourists but the real thing for Mexicans. The orchestra and singers behind him are so so good. I love your reaction and analysis. The editing is very nice and entertaining. I love it all! 🎺
Love your freshness and emotion in your reactions, and the fact that you love mexican culture. Our beloved Juan Gabriel is the best we ever had. You have a new fan.
🎺 Juanga, wish you were on my radar earlier in life so that I could have seen you in concert, wish I would have learned Spanish as a kid, but mostly I wish you were still here. Thank you for the music. RIP
People forget that Mexico has had a lot of immigrants from all over the world. Russian, Germany, holland, Jews, Italy and of course Spain. When was having a big hunger after the second world war Mexico send a lotbof help and food. Russia also has always been a friend to Mexico. They send a lot of medical supplies on the last hunger earthquake. Mexico has always increased all other countries.
His performances were always this great. There's one time he performed at a dinner with the governor of my state. He made the governor and his wife to dance on top of the table! He always involved the audience so much and always made funny and sassy comments.
Not only he is one of the most talented singers of Mexico and 5he world, but he composed some of the biggest mexican mariachi and ballad anthems that had joined social generations. Allegedly a member of the LGBT community though never confirmed, there can be a thousand divas, but only one divo.

I love that you understand some spanish because that makes you understand better the circumstances of a song, to know what it is being songed about and you have a better appreciation about the song, congrats, really.
In the beginning there, he was talking more in the past tense. "i was happy" "i lived a happy life". Makes the story he is telling a bit more sad. D.E.P JG loved this video !!
If you search in RUclips Hasta que te Conocí Reaction, all the people who reacts, wherever where come from start to dance with the song In México we call it El efecto Juan Gabriel Saludos desde México B-E-A-TIFULL lady
This was one of his best concerts ever, Prime Juan Gabriel at his best. To think these didn't realize the show they were about to see when they sat down in their seats that night. I wish I could've been there to experience this beautiful performance.
You can spend all day comparing but he adds the divo factor. His nick name was el divo de Juarez. Plus he composed over 1000 songs and most were hits sung by dozens of the most famous singer at the time and now.
One of my favorite singers in the whole world. After Luis Miguel I believe Juan Gabriel is the best. I loved this video. Please do more videos like this one.

This song was meaningful to him that's why so much pain and emotion was poured into this song ....this song was about his mom and his life with her ...
@Rakkasan-lh5qg i do know the back history to this ...his mom wasn't very kind to him because of his sexuallity he sang this song as in memory to her still loving her even after the pain he was put through... Come on are you Mexican or not we know the whole story his struggles in life he was a homage in Mexico
@Rakkasan-lh5qg I have i know my roots is not about your race but in my opinion every tru Mexican know this fact and you came at me without knowing the real facts ....sorry not sorry
@Rakkasan-lh5qg in what way did you correct me i wasn't wrong in anything everything i said was facts 🤔 you tried to discreet my knowing of his backstory without knowing yourself so I call that coming at me without the facts
Thanks for another great reaction. Please react to "Retrospection" (OMV). It is Jinjer's metal love letter to their parents separated from the band because of their touring schedule, politics and war. The OMV gives a glimpse into the band's life that one normally doesn't get from other bands. With everything going on, it is a very poignant video. 💙💛🌻
The song I think is about his mother who abandon him when he was really young probably a baby (:. Then he found her or ran into her in his teen adult life (: And finally lost her when she died later in his life (:. It's a very sad song and true story of his life (:.

THIS IS THE MOST AWESOME COMMENT I'VE READ ON RUclips.
If that is true. You must of been grateful to have been able to witness his greatness

Perfecto estamos escuchando ésto, 👌
Me acuerdo cuando anunciaron este concierto para la venta de videocassettes (VHS), no vacilé en comprarlo inmediatamente.

Great reaction! Puerto Rican singer Marc Anthony also does this song in Salsa, it’s also beautiful! ❤
