Just keep working at it. Really, that's the only way it's going to click in your brain....it'll take multiple tries of one pattern, and then all of a sudden, it works, your eyes, brain, and hand work together at the same time, and the "YAY, I GOT IT!" moment happens. Once it does, you'll be able to do it with any other pattern, no matter what it is. I've been drawing since I was around 5 y.o., and I'm 71 now. It still takes multiple tries with what I want to achieve before I "get it" and my perspective shifts to the version I want, no matter if it's realistic drawing, or tangle patterns/abstracts. Don't give up on it!

As much as ii love these, and how you present them, ii hate my results every time. They never come out right...so frustrating.
