Thanks for watching! The SIPOC model is a great project management too and when the SIPOC diagram is simplified it makes it easy for anyone to follow and use. Cheers!
SIPOC is a good place to start for any project big or small. Nice & simple presentation to start people off. I will share this with my team a a 1st step educational tool. Cheers Moillette😊
Thanks for sharing! with your team! I also have a 45 min webinar that I think may benefit them as well. In this free training I walk you through the five key items needed on all projects, it's what I call the FAB FIVE FUNDAMENTALS OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT. The FAB FIVE are the 5 key items that you must do on every project - if you only do 5 things, these are them! It’s a great way to simplify projects, while still doing the essentials needed to ensure project success. Save your seat here: www.slayprojectmanagement.com/webinar Cheers!
This was a great video. The only thing I would add is that the "S" is for Supplier- This step should call out the Supplier of the Input. Your hungry person and Children will most likely NOT provide the bread, meat, or condiments needed to build the sandwich. SO make sure to properly call out the Supplier here. Very good video and I would use this as an introduction to creating a SIPOC.
Great explanation of a SIPOC diagram as well as all the examples of when you can use it. Looks like a very simple and useful tool for any type of project management.
Thanks Heather, glad you enjoyed the explanation of a SIPOC diagram and the examples. It is a great project management tool and yes, very easy to use. Thank you for tuning in, Cheers!
Great video. For me, where you explained when to use a SIPOC diagram was key. It's great understanding how to do one but when to use it and the importance of it can get missed in some of these videos.
While I first learned about SIPOC many many years ago, but your simple explanation rocks... especially about starting with 'P' (instead of 'S' like I used to ... and run into problems). I loved your VSM video too by way. By any chance would you have a video that you made for Fishbone? I love your presentation style.
I’m so happy to hear these videos were of value to you 😊 I don’t have a video on Fishbone but will add that to our list of potential RUclips video topics. Thanks for watching, cheers!
GOod. Worth noting that everything in the first "P" column is a verb - everything everywhere else is a noun or nouns. SO, if you put anything in the "P" column that isn't a verb, check it doesn't better belong somewhere else - is it really part of "P"? And vice versa for the other columns.
@adis24im35. Thanks for watching the video. The SIPOC is a tool to help with greater understanding of a process. It’s a simple tool that can be done individually or with a group. Think of it as a diagnostic tool which can be tweaked to modify anything you need to examine. I will put your request on my future video list. Cheers!
I think you made a mistake with your Sandwich example. The Stakeholders (wrong term) (actually the 'Suppliers' are going to be ingredient suppliers, tool suppliers, delivery services, etc.. Otherwise, a good presentation.
So glad you are paying attention. The great thing with these tools is, you have the ability to tweak them according too need. The process will dictate everything else. Our example was the actual making of the sandwich and we chose not to dig any deeper like how we got the ingredients. Thanks for watching and for your comment:) Cheers!
Have you ever done a SIPOC before? Do you have any other tips to share? Thanks for watching!

Can Value stream Mapping and SIPOC apply in Hospital organization?
Absolutely. It’s all about the process.
I just became very aware of how ppl are likely distracted by the way I talk with my hands.
I know…😆….I have gotten better with talking less with my hands. Check out my latest videos. Cheers!
just because you can, doesnt mean you should. I really wish you would've delved more on why we should use sipoc.

I have never heard of SIPOC. It sounds like there can be some overlaps with finances. ;)
Thanks for watching our video on SIPOC diagram simplified. I'm sure there could be some overlaps with finances:) Cheers!
A "project" is never 'process-oriented', it is deliverable oriented.
Thanks for watching, cheers!
